I'm just glad there are people out there who want to see it. When you throw a party you are always nervous if the people you invited will really show up! I know I am.

Thanks for watching! I do appreciate it.

The front of the valve cover being in line with the front of the vent cutout...same alignment as the Butler/Arntz.

Mid-engined.

The pictures are amazing and now these videos! They are fantastic. David thank you for taking the time you have invested in this thread.

I could watch someone pushing a broom around the shop floor and I'm not kidding.

You are too kind. Just bumbling along here with the camera. I will post more vid today. We had a slight set-back...but we can't be held down for too long.

Maybe you could take it out and autocross it and tell me if it is as good as your old Butler.

I think this one is about as "mid-engined" as it gets with the engine still in the front.

If you take the definition that the engine has to between the front and rear axles, then I would think that all Cobras could be considered mid-engined, much like current Corvettes, Vipers and even my RX-7.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid-engine_design

Other web searches don't seem to consider front-mid-engined cars as true mid-engined though.

From the looks of the earlier picture with Joe, our desks do need some cleaning! I did clean them up after a few emails...

The motor between the axles is certainly the definition we use! This motor sits just a little more "mid" than most cars.

I think that is the first time I have ever seen a broom in my brothers hands.
I didn't think he knew how to use a broom.

I didn't see much debris being pushed around there - was he hamming it
up for the camera? My bet is that you keep that place pretty darn clean.

Well, David, it looks as though we now have proof of the Peter Principle:

I sure hope that I get promoted some day to sweeping!

With Don Aristeo around the shop, you can hardly let a chip fall before he is right behind you cleaning it up. Problem is, you can't set anything down either as it gets "put away."

I don't know what we'd do without him. People always comment on how clean our shop is. (I always think it is a mess, but what do I know?)

Back to the car.

Today we really started to bend up some tubes. I imagine we will have the front and rear clips "tacked" into place tomorrow or Monday. "Clip" is and industry term for the front 1/2 (front clip) or rear 1/2 (rear clip) of the body. I am pretty sure by the end of next week the body will be on for good.

I will post more pics and videos tomorrow.
