Default The Book...

First, I apologize for the pictures. This thing needs to be photographed in a studio.

Received a big heavy box from Provo today. Cheerleader was a bit nervous...last time we received a box this big from them, some live lobsters came crawling out and had her running and screaming around the kitchen.

A 40lb book? This thing's going to numb my legs if I take it into the bathroom.

All arruminum...

Default The Book...

Every edge of the front and back covers tells a story...

The center inlay is of 304 stainless (used for the exhaust) and was heated up to about 1300 degrees to mimick header tubes...

The back cover includes the same English leather as the interior...

Default The Book...

Motivation...

Beautiful pictures (mostly by David) throughout...

Including an entire chapter on how the book cover was made...an amazing work of art in and of itself...

Outstanding accomplishment, David...the book is an amazing thing that will likely be unearthed centuries from now and used to start a religion.

Thank you for the opportunity to "proof-read" it.

David, you might have already addressed this, but are you going to sell copies of these books? Sorry if this is redundant.

I assume every book has a serial number and Ron will be the registrar.

Well, I know what I'm asking my wife to get me for Christmas this year.

Is it a secret? I thought it was well-known already.

I fumble for words, I gasp for breath, my eyes widen, and a big smile of admiration comes across my face every time I see another work from Tom and David Kirkham.

David and Tom or Tom and David, I once again tip my hat to you both for your outstanding excellence in everything you do.

Tres magnifique!

O.K. It's a dirty job but SOMEBODY has to ask........Is this book "real" or just a replica of a book......? Or, based on the pictures of the "book" am I just dreaming?

Oh...it's real.

I know one thing...after wiping fingerprints off the cover numerous times today, I damn glad mine doesn't have a polished finish.
