Hey, can one substitute Wild Turkey instead of the Taquela and get the same effect ?
Gents, I ran all right hand threaded spinner on my GT for 6yrs and I had only one occasion when a wheel loosened. That was my fault as I was shy with the lead hammer. A little inti-sieze and let 'er rip with the hammer. You can tell when you hit the end as it has a different feel. I bought new wheels from Vintage Wheels last year and they came with two right and two left. David is right on about it making no difference on thread direction.
I always make sure my nuts are secure.
