Default kirkham on ebay

there's a very nice Kirkham on ebay that looks to have been a replica of CSX?3138?, I think. Anyone know if the owner posts here? The remarks state it was done by Classic Motorsports, one of two street cars. I guess that means one of two by them, doesn't Kirkham offer a street car in their lineup?

Yes, Kirkham makes a street 427 and 289.

Can you provide a link? I couldn't find it on eBay.

Oh, I searched under Kirkham, not Shelby.

I believe that's David Wagner's car. I believe he has a well-known Cobra shop in Michigan. Supposedly, it's extremely detailed as an original street 427. He did a lot of work on Rob Simones' Kirkham.

Looks to have two set of wheels which is nice. (Not Sunburst)

Wonder if it has the billet suspension or the original style tubular style.

"This is one of two 427 aluminum street bodies produced by Kirkham Motorsports." I don't think that's true. Just this one and mine? David?

Beautiful car, though!!!

I think there have been at least 4 427 Street configs...

...and many more 289 Street configs sold than 427.

I did a photo shoot of this car on eBay the year it was finished....
...it is r-e-a-l-l-y well detailed...with a lot of high-$ OEM parts.

Under the hood looks as good as the exterior.

We parked a real CSX3000 next to it and...this looked more "real."

This is "the one" if you lust for an alloy street car.

One pic has the Hallibrand wheels, what do you call that style of wheels in the other shot?

Hey Jeff good shots of the underneath on the additional pics link. It has the tubular suspension and even the red lead painted diff. It is as Ron said quite the street car. Even the tank and trunk floor is right there, it looks like one of mine ;-) I think the headers are tidy and functional though that's the biggest liberty I see. I wonder if they're the Sandersons, anyone know? The FIA wheels are neat but really 289 issue, street cars would have Sunburst wheels to be correct.

It's close to perfect, now if it only had a black hood...

Agree that the Sunbursts would be the final touch.

But...not just 289's...FIA's are quite correct for 427 Comp and S/C configs

When I saw pictures of this car early last year, since I inquired about its purchase, I remember it as having Sunbursts. Mr. Wagner wanted $125,000 at that time.

My KMP 216 is this exact configuration. I've even got a set of sunbursts I'm trying to get on it but they rub on the brake calipers.
Saltytri, isn't yours without the oil cooler opening like the version on the KMS website.
So if the ebay car is KMP 219 what do KMP 217 and 218 look like.

Yes, mine is the one shown on the web site. It's been polished since those pictures were taken. See my galley for more up to date photos.

KMP217 and 218 were 'hybrid cars' ala CSX3002....289 nose, 427 tail, coil-spring.

KMP217 was more 3002-ish, KMP218 had cut-back doors.

Neither were street-config.

...wouldn't go there. I once heard about a guy who had about 40 or so laying around.

Didn't work out so well.
