Halibrand correct wheels?

How do you stroke a 289 block to 387 cubic inches? Carefully?

I wonder if this is the same car that was advertised on eBay and elsewhere by the AutoKennel. They have the SB100 CA sticker when the car is being sold in AZ.

Too bad they titled it in AZ and threw the SB100 exemption out the window.

The cars SB100 exemption may still be valid in California.

I thought if the car left the state and was retitled, the CA title and SB100 were null and void and you had to start over if the car was returned to CA...???

I thought that was the case as well, but I've heard otherwise. I shot the guy an email to get some details regarding the SB100 sticker. He said that the car is currently registered in AZ and that they used the CA VIN on the AZ registration. Worth a visit to the DMV if someone from CA was interested in the car.

I'm sure the reserve price is in the stratosphere, so unless it's a fire sale I bet the auction won't hit reserve.

Hi Guys,

I think that is the same car that was advertised here on CC for Sale.

http://www.clubcobra.com/classifieds...uct=1217&cat=2

I have a lust for a slabside but, this is just bad timing for my finances.

Boy do I love the slabs!!!
Yes, same car provided it is the same VIN tag.
No, Halibrands were not original to the slabs. Original were spokes and many updated to FIA or Kidney Beans.

Is there some rust starting on that SS frame?
The car is a base model as it does not have the expensive options like 16" steering wheel, S&W gauges, pivoting AC pedals, windwings, sunvisor, hybrid coilover suspension however it is still grand....

Anyone looking to buy a kidney....

Well, I'm prepared this time to get a "Flip (HI Cobra)" type deal. Though there's not a chance that it's ever going to happen. If it were the same car, and it appears very similar, the AutoKennel had it listed at $90,000 or $88,000.

it is indeed the same car offered by auto kennel in the classified section ( i think it was offered at $85k) sold for much lower if my info is correct.

guy is some type of collector / dealer. was bid to $65k at kruse auburn in sept 2008 (so i am told) on his first "flip" attempt.

he bought the car. added some emblems and the front rear bumpers, grille as far as i can recall.

he is asking $115k - last correspondence i had with him about two months ago.
