If it works (and I can't see why it wouldn't) then you are IN!

Congrats!

Which distributor do you have? Could you post a picture of your engine? I think you have the large two piece cap.

Thanks

Default Distributor

My engine is a Ford Motorsports Crate engine. It has the Dura Spark Distributor. I can try to post some picture tonight or even easier let me send them directly to an email address.

I have almost the exact same set up that I am about to post a picture of. I have the stock (old style) distributor. So you have the big two piece cap?

This is a picture of the two piece cold air box on a 302 (with E-brock RPM air gap manifold) with an old style distributor cap. It clears just fine

Thomas,

If I convert to the smaller cap will I be able to keep my air cleaner as is? The cap is less expensive to change than the air cleaner.
Measurement on the air cleaner it is 8 9/16 wide by 11 13/16 wide.

Default Kirkham Cold Air Box on ERA

I finally installed the Kirkham two piece cold air box on my ERA. Had to make a few minor modifications, but I like the way it worked out. Attached are a few pics.
