How about a billet oval 15" air cleaner with built-in 1" drop down base (for more hood clearance). Or just provide the base and the purchaser uses their existing top. I'm surprised the Kirkham Whittle Works hasn't experimented with these yet? I ended up machining the air horn off mine and that gave me enough room (for now). Someday when I ever upgrade to a different intake (i.e. Air Gap), I will need the extra room or I'll have to eliminate my 1" carb spacer.
Anyway, something to think about. Maybe not "in demand", but sometimes availability creates its own demand.
Regards,
-Dean

Hi David, a pic of that t-pan seal would be fantastic. Thank you.

Nice!
Many years back I calculated power loss due to underhood temperatures.
(I guess R. Thomas has a formula on his site, or any dyno program should allow for intake air temp variation)
It was considerable!

David,
I was on your website today and noticed the prices have changed. Unfortunately, it seems some items have been removed from the option list. I assume they are included but it's not clear from reading on the interactive price list. They are noty listed on the waht's included section under each car. A few items are the differential, oil cooler and half shafts

Chris,
These items are listed on the standard specification under Section 6:
http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/pa...packindex.html
Most of what was an option when I bought my car is now standard.

Do you have a picture of what you want?
Just guessing, the billet for such a large part would be rather expensive, I am afraid. Something on the order of $60-$70. Machine time would probably be about $100, so you are looking at a $200 base.

I think my brother Thomas knows the numbers from Kinetics. If I remember right, the numbers were quite surprising.

Chris,
That is a real bummer when you can't find something on our website. I noticed Paul did post a link (Thanks!) but you shouldn't have to rely on someone else to find the info for you. We need to make our site better. I will work on that. We tried to make it simpler, but it seems we didn't succeed.

That is the same weather stripping we use on the edges of our interior panels. Of course, on the actual cold air box, the seal would go all the way around. I just wanted to show you all what it looked like.
You would simply trim down the sides of the the cold air box to fit your hood, and then glue this weather stripping down. 3M trim Adhesive works GREAT!

Yep I think it's just one of those fancy back ground pictures from Olan Mill's! It's not really real is it? You know if it keeps raining here I just might consider one of those fancy cars with the top included!! I'm with Jamo, any pic's or new info on the project behind the pallet jack? Matt

More importantly, has the price come down.
Are the first ten spoken for?
