We have held off on it as the billet car sucked all the life out of us. Now that it is delivered, we can focus on other projects.

They are $395 retail.

We will sell the next 5 of them for $300

This CC member special is good 5 units only. When 5 are sold (or two weeks maximum time passes by) the sale is OVER!

Starting NOW!

Our external unit works Tremec transmissions:

Small block with Lakewood bell housing
Small block with McLeod bell housing

FE with Lakewood bell housing
FE with McLeod bell housing

Let me know what you have.

I can attest to the craftsmanship and it works beautifully. The Kirkhams also modified my QT bellhousing for me to use with their setup. Very nice.

David,

Can you supply the modified QT Bellhousing for the clutch set up? I assume all of the bolts from the bellhousing to block are still used? I saw another set up and the slave mounting bracket did not allow access to one of the bellhousing bolts. Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure that I know what I am buying. I search for a picture but could not find one, do you know where I can see the set up?

Do you recommend the QT bellhousing or a different one?

Thanks,

Peter

Just shoot an email or call QT and they will answer your question. I would buy one from one of the supporting sponsors and have them ship it to UT.

The QT bellhousing is far lighter and smaller in size. I would highly recommend it.

Peter,

What motor? FE or Small block? I'll post pics.

We like the Quick Time bell housing. They are much lighter than the Lakewood.

Yes, we can supply the bell housing. We charge $100 to modify it. The clutch fork opening has to be slightly enlarged. Then, we cut the bottom flange off so it won't catch on road kill.

Davis,

I have a Shelby block 482 and a TKO 600. Do you recommend the Quick Time RM 6056 or RM 6056 SFI? Have you seen the 6056 SFI with the lower cover ? Please post a picture of the clutch slave and I will call you to order.

Thanks,

peter

If you plan to track the car, then SFI.

The Quick Time bell housing is a little different, but pretty close. I don't have a photo of the QT that I can find right now.

I'll take a pic of mine, since it's sitting in the garage.

The mods not too hard, have to take about 3/4" off the top edge of the opening and drill a 1/2" hole in the flange for the pivot bolt.

I marked off the cut and drilled two 3/8" holes at each corner, then made the cuts with a cut-off wheel in my die grinder. Took about an hour. (triple checking measurements since I didn't want to mess up)

Haven't lopped off the bottom, yet.

Ronbo,

I'd chop the bottom...BEFORE something else does it for you!

Can do...no problem.

How much room do you 351 guys have between the carb studs and the distributor?

Anyone want to volunteer to be a guinea pig? We'll draw it up tomorrow.

$50 off to the 1st guinea pig. That's $200 (already discounted) less $50 for $150. 1st guy with the measurement ONLY!

Default 351 W Guy

David.

I took a quick measurement on mine and I have 3.5 inches middle of front carb stud to back of distributor. This is a loose measurement which will leave a little finger room. I'm in for $150.
