WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that is a bargain. Wish I had the funds.
Only issue I see are both Colorado and Texas plates in different pictures.

Seems like a hell of a deal.
Gonna want to switch out the toploader for a five speed Tremec, but a hell of a deal.

AND, the person you call and car is located in Scottsdale, AZ. I saw the ad several days ago and thought it was an outstanding deal as well, but then in this economy, there will be a lot of outstanding deals, unless of course, the economy gets "worser."
Lunati billet rods and Valasco crank? A real nice engine. I'm not sure I would run the same cam for the two different induction systems though.

Very nice car for a great price. I talked to him a couple of years ago when he was looking for a Kirkham. Very nice guy.

This car was sold within ten days. The seller had four full price offers.
I guess the economy isn't so bad.

I was so close to pulling the trigger myself on it, I could have had it in my garage and titled after transporation for $95K but unlike most guys on this forum my bank account would have taken a hit and with this wonderfull economy who knows. Individuals buying cars for 89K are recession, depression and terroist proof. I was there at one time but not anymore!!!!

I wouldn't quite go that far to call someone, with $100K to spend right now, depression proof. Maybe the guys buying Ferraris for mil +/- are.
$89K is a great price for a Kirkham in this market, but Flip (HI Cobra) paid $68K for a Kirkham on eBay last year that I would call a really great deal. Maybe not the same spec level, but for the $21K difference, there's lots you could do.

I believe if you look close you'll see Arizona and Texas plates, not Colorado. Colorado is not the "Grand Canyon" state.

P.S. $89K was a tremendous deal for this particular car, vis-a-vis other 427 Kirkhams that have been on the market in recent memory.

I remeber the ebay kirkham last year for $68K, I was picking my new SPF in days, I figured two cobras in the garage would be a little much but agree that was an incredible deal.

Apples and oranges, the stainless frame would prove difficult to "upgrade".
It'd cost you $120k+ now to build this car... Thankfully, I don't have to sell mine in this crap market.

I beg to differ. Of course, opinions will vary. They're both Kirkhams with FE's. Close enough for horseshoes in my little world. Both were good deals. I just consider Flip's a better deal. Original sideoiler, older Kirkham suspension has its supporters. I can't remember all the details.
I just finished building mine last year, so I'm fully aware of how much Kirkhams can cost, especially when they're full-tilt boogie.

My car will have about $77 in it. I have the polished finish with brushed stripes, it has brake and mid level suspension upgrades, ss headers and every opyion except the tank and foot boxes. It has a 482 (genesis), stage 1 heads roller valvetrain with T and D rockers. and a tremec five speed and a jag rear. I'm building the car mysellf. I did however buy it as an assembeled roller. So I guess I'm only doing the powertrain myself. I can't see how this car would cost $120 to build unless they have gone up dramitcally in price.

I think there has been a big price increase recently. These cars a getting more expensive to buy.

Yes, you did.
However, let me point out how costs can escalate in a hurry for some.
Some may choose to go with an CSX/Pond aluminum block, "Stage 2" heads, Aviaid oil pan, 4340 crank, turkey pan, puke tank, aluminum rear end, change factory Kirkham muffler to Hushpower, carpeting the trunk, additional fire extinguisher mounted in front of the passenger seat, changing out all the stock Kirkham dash switches (the stock ones weren't good), adding a self-canceling turn signal, corner balancing, Raydot side mirrors, S/C vents in fenderwell for headers, radiator catch can, additional gas cap mounted inside of exterior gas cap to pass track tech inspection, etc., etc., etc. The list goes on and on and on. Many owners simply choose to upgrade the Kirkham's factory package.
Add labor for owners like me who don't have the skills or time. Also some owners change or add parts to make their cars closer to original spec.
