Default Quiter Pipes?

Hi Guys,

I own #385 in Sunny Australia,482 KCraft efi,brushed & polished stripes.
At the risk of sounding lame, how can i get a quiter set of pipes ? The plan is to have 2 sets.
Any advice /leads would be great.
Thanks.
Soul.

I'm guessing you have the older style pipes. (fully welded) You could sell these and get the newer style pipes from Kirkham, The new style pipes use mufflers from Burns and can be disassembled. This would make it easy to install and remove either baffles or screen cones in the pipes.

These are the new style mufflers: http://burnsstainless.com/Collector_..._mufflers.html

These are the baffles: http://www.spiralturbobaffles.com/streetrod.html

The other option is screen cones: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Nothing lame about wanting to keep your hearing.

Ronbo,

Actually, we use Coast Fabrication mufflers. You can quite down the car quite a bit if you use a 2 1/2 inch muffler instead of the 3 inch muffler (ID).

We have a few cars there. I'd have to check to see where.

We can send another set of pipes down--no big deal. We send parts all over the world.

Found 'em http://www.coastfab.com/ultralights.html

They look identical, so that's why I thought Burns made them.
