Sorry. We are buried delivering the 50th Anniversary 427's to Shelby and finishing up their 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe for SEMA.

The rod end goes into a 1/2" hole we drill into the bell housing.

PLEASE NOTE!!!!!

I have NEVER seen a bell housing fit properly on an FE block! There isn't enough relief around the 7/16" holes to move the bell housing up when you dial it in. The radius on the bell housing hits the bolt head when you tighten it down. Some of the holes don't have any clearance at all.

We finally gave up and wrote a CNC program on our mill and cut all the holes to 1/2" (so the bell housing can move up) and then relieve the radius so you can put a washer under the head of the bolt.

In the same program we drill a 1/2" hole that the rod end goes into that acts as a pivot for the throw out arm. It is a pretty cool set up.

Happy to answer questions. Sorry we are so hard to get a hold of.

David,
I'm going to have McCluskey do this work along with other stuff.
Should I have him call or send you the BH?
Also, I want to order one the kits, please!

Mike does awesome work. I would definitely have him send us the bell housing. I'll get a kit together for you as well.

And a billet oil pan as well, please!

I just went through this with a QT bellhousing and used up all of .021 dowels to get the BH dialed in. I would be interested in the billet fork and pivot ball.

I think I just got my clutch dialed in last night after 3 days of moving the slave cylinder around and griding off part of the bellhousing near the slave cylinder rod so it would line up.

It looks like a great setup but I did not see it on the Forte web site. Can anyone share the link?

Phil

Thought some of you guys might have wanted to see this. I had my Quicktime bellhousing (thanks Brent!) modified by Kirkham for their billet clutch fork. Obviously, the fork is a jewel. They enlarged the opening in the housing and mounted it with a nifty heim joint. I also picked up their slave cylinder mount.

Any idea how long this billet clutch for has been available, what is the cost, is it a stock piece when you buy a roller???

fordracing,

I bought mine five years ago for $350.00 or so as a replacement for the internal hydraulic. tob from McCleod.

They hadn`t been available for more than a year, I believe
