maurice,

I have sent an email to Tom. Hopefully he does have another option other than the 427SO, I would love that motor but my latest tour of KMS, my project's budget just went up another 28K going from a FFR Roadster to a Kirkham.

Why not strike a deal with this CC member:

Also, go to www.fordfe.com and look in the classifieds for FE's.

I think you will get a better resale value with the Kirkham diff if you should ever sell the car. Another factor in your decision.

Good point. That's also why I'm going to go with the FE vs the 427W. Jumping into the Kirkham world has it responsibilities and that comes with a price

car4jim, I see your from CA, where did you get your motor??

I don't know if you've considered used but #304 is back on Cobra Country. It's pretty heavily optioned, including the SS frame:

http://www.cobracountry.com/home2.html

Scroll down till you see the listing for #304. $95k for a car that would cost about $120k+ to build. With both induction systems, it's a pretty good deal.

Here's the original thread where the original owner sold it a while back:

http://clubcobra.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94990

Offer the guy $90k and see if he bites...
