Thinking about buying a Kirkham?
For those of you out there who are considering purchasing a Kirkham replica, kit or parts made by them but have not made a final decision, let me try to make your decision easier.
You have nothing to worry about. These guys are, simply stated, awesome. Their workmanship and attention to detail is unsurpassed. Their quality is nothing short than spectacular. All of their products are amazing. But it does not end there. The people are awesome, dedicated to a level that I have never seen. Talk about backing up their products! Nothing is too much trouble. When they make something, it's nothing short of spectacular. No matter how small the detail requested or how unimportant it may seem, the results are always beyond what I could have thought.
Jeremy, David, Thomas, Mary and all of you in the shop, thank you, thank you, thank you!

pusherfans,
Don't hold back man, tell us how you really feel......
From everything I've seen so far, you're right about the K brothers' products.

Sounds very good, but can you give any examples of their "spectacular" service/products/workmanship that you have personally experienced?

They've sent me replacement parts without even having to go through the "20 questions" or asking for the old part back first for "analysis."
Response time to emails or phone calls is very quick.
When I needed help calibrating my fuel level gauge, they quickly posted a youtube video with the instructions.
During the sales process, they were very flexible with my requests.

I have great admiration for the Kirkhams and their kind. Honesty, integrity, the best of the best. If only all companies ran this way.
Now what can you do about health care Tom; David?

5+ years later and the car (the way it is designed and built and the way it performs) and the Kirkhams' service (before, during and after the build) have exceeded my very high expectations on every level. It is one of the few purchases where, after everything was said and done, I did not have one ounce of buyers' remorse. In fact, it is one of those purchases/projects where it is really obvious that the bang for the buck is just extraordinary. If anything, a Kirkham is UNDERPRICED for what you get.

What can I add...
The Kirkhams are great in every way. From every point in the process of building my car to now maintaining and tuning they have gone 110% of the distance. Any time I've ever called down to Provo I've been able to get someone on the phone. They always take what ever time it takes to solve a problem, even those that they don't own.
My Kirkham has exceeded my expectations by 1000 percent. I can't say that about anything else I have ever bought, really!
And last... They are just good people. They are my friends. It's just not about buying a car, it's about a continuing relationship.
If you think this is corny, buy a Kirkham and see for yourself.

the car is really a piece of art, but what really sets the company apart is the care they take in helping get the customers car on the road. if you do any the work yourself it does take a while. thats the fun in it. they just progess right along with you. i would like to say thanks to Jeremy. i just got my tag yesterday. it was all worth it.

Since you asked....
Took my car to COBRA BASH (number 2, was it?) with the left rear fender pushed in quit a bit...long story, my fault. As I pulled into the parking structure, Joe and "Sandwich" noticed my car and waved. They walked over, eyeing the sizable dent, and said "Hey, we can fix that." I said thanks, that would be great!......and eventually got to the "how much?" part of the discussion. "Don't worry about it, we just have to get our tools."
Mind you, I hadn't bought the car directly from the Kirkhams.
Next thing I know, they're making arrangements to have their tools airlifted to the Reno airport overnight.
The next day, I get up fairly early (for me on vacation anyway) and wander out to the parking structure. I couldn't believe it, the dent was already gone, and Sandwich was just sanding the remains of the file marks out....you now can't tell that there was ever anything wrong with that fender. I offered to pay, or at least buy them breakfast, they refused, and said that they just like to take care of "their" cars.
Example #2, I dropped in unannounced at the Provo shop with my Dad, whom I was visiting, and wanted to show him the company that made may car. I don't remember if it was Tom or David, but one of those two proceded to drop everything, and give us the FULL TOUR, showing us absolutely everything. In addition to that, he asked if there was anything I needed....I swiped some Jetnuts, but couldn't think of anything else. Then he asked if I has seen the new billit brake reservoirs...I hadn't. He then rummaged around and handed me a box and said "take these." My Dad and I left with some posters and shirts, too.
There's more, but I have actual work to do. Suffice it to say, that they have always followed up with a telephone call when I had questions, and have always taken my calls when I telephoned them.
And remember, I didn't even buy the car from them.
