Lake Mead Run
I'm back from San Antonio and the Superformance Winter Convention. Had a great time. While I was there, I rented a new Mustang from Hertz and hit the back roads north of San Antonio. Nice roads and stopped at Coopers for some fantastic BBQ.
Now I have to go to Florida for 10 days and will be back on the 19th. So I'll miss some breakfasts at the Blvd. Sports Bar. However, the weather is warming up but not to hot yet. I would like to plan a cobra run around Lake Mead from Henderson to Logandale on Saturday the 25th.
Is anyone interested? If so, I'll set up the details and post them here upon my return on the 20th.

Scott, sounds like a plan...Whats in Logandale? How about maybe peeling off and cruising through Valley of Fire either also or instead?

I had planned on bringing my wife if it's not a "boys only" kinda thing.

We can make it thru Valley of Fire. There is some great views. Yes I think it should be wives day. Maybe we can bring food and have a picnic in Valley of Fire before coming home via I-15.

Hey, I'm back from Floida. Tom finished with fine tuning my valves and alignment and I will pick up the Cobra today. Saturday weather is suppose to be 77 degrees and sunny. Therefore, the Cobra run to Lake Mead and Valley of Fire is on. Bring picnic lunch and wives.
Meet at Blvd. Sports Bar on Las Vegas Blvd. at 8:30 am for Breakfast. Pull out at 9:30am. Run thru Lake Mead and head for Valley of Fire. Have picnic lunch in Valley of Fire, then head home via highway 15.
Who's coming?

We can make it for breakfast and the lake for sure.
Valley of Fire is questionable at this time.

Sorry, We won't be able to make it this weekend. Saturday at Willow took my engine down and a small fire took some paint and fiberglass. This racing stuff sure can be expensive! Hopefully we'll be ready for Knott's in April but until then the Cobra is out of action.
