Default Hey guys!

Hey fellow Vegans! My name is Mike. My dad has a Superformance replica that he has had since 2001. We are excited to find a club here in town and look forward to meeting you guys eventually. But first, we have to get the Cobra back on the road. There is a bad rattle once the car warms up somewhere around the passenger rear wheel. I think its either an axle bearing or a collar on the coilover that has come loose. Anyways, I haven't had time to look at it myself and he isn't the mechanic type. Is there a place locally that you guys take your cars to get worked on? I can get to it eventually, but fear that it won't be for a while and we will miss prime driving season before it gets too hot . Thanks guys!

Check out Tom's Motorsports at the speedway. He's is a little pricey but well qualified and very honest.

Tom's Motorsports phone # is 651-0708. Tom has done all the work on my car for the last year. His specialty is cobras.

Look on top of the frame cross member in front of the motor. The chassis number should be stamped in it. Also look at the hood hinges. It is stamped there too.

The Las Vegas Cobra Club is very infromal and meets once or twice a month for breakfast and sometimes a run. Last month we drove through Lake Mead Park and Valley of Fire. Next month we will probably go to Mt. Charleston. The breakfast and run are usually discussed here on CC.

This weekend some of us are going to the Knotts Kit Car Show in Buena Park Ca. Next Month some are going to the Western States Cobra Bash in Sparks.

Thanks Scott. I will have to check that next time I am at my parents house. Unfortunately we wont be able to make it to Knotts or WSCB, but hopefully we will be there for the next in-town event. I will get the car into Tom's ASAP. Is anybody welcome to plan a local cruise or meet?
