Saturday Night SCCA race
Who's going to the SCCA Autocross Saturday Night? Last time it was a little hot at 115 degrees. The forecast for this Saturday is only 98 degrees. I just registered (B-Prepared Class). So I'm running this time. If you don't register on line, registration on site begins at 5:30pm. So far there's 25 cars registred. The GT40 hasn't registered yet.
Who wants to go to Carmine's for an early dinner, say 5:00pm and then head over to Sam Boyd Stadium around 6:00 pm? Race starts about 7:00pm.

I'm out of town for the weekend, have fun. Hope the term "break-fast" doesn't apply (as in, what are you gonna break this time)? :-)
PS - see, if we were all registered on the Yahoo site you could have broadcast this note to everyone interested...

Ken,
I didn't "break" anything last time we were at the SCCA Autocross. We should discuss the Yahoo at the next meeting.
Breakless
Scott
If you breakless does that mean you go faster?

Yes, breaking less = go faster (more speed). But it also means hitting more cones(more time). Take your pick.
After last time I don't think I could sit there and watch again. So I guess I'll have to run. I'm also thinking about bringing my daughter along to ride with me. Anyone have a extra helment for her?
I'll check back in about dinner. but I'll sure try.

Sheldon,
I haven't heard from you. Are you going to be there? What about your cart?
Is anyone going to dinner?

There’s a good possibility that I’ll be there. I won’t know for sure until tomorrow afternoon.
Will the lovely Mrs. Hatcher be attending? If so, I’ll bring Jackie along.
The carburetor on the kart is in pieces so I’ll just have to watch you have all the fun.

I will try to make it out and "observe." Car is in pieces and I still have not had it aligned.

I plan on doing one of my "all nighters" tonight on the car - so we shall see what I can get done - I still will have the issue with the alignment, it steers a bit squirly.
Doug, I have some good motorcycle helmets - size M if you want to borrow one of those.

Shelton,
The lovely Mrs. Hatcher will be there if it's not too hot!
When are you doing the grading of the pasture?

Kenny, don't worry, the track will be squirley too!
Scott, I won't be able to make dinner but I should make it to the Sam Boyd a little after 6:30. see ya then.
I'm still working on Chuck. If he's finished with Terry's car he may be there sans supercharger.

We'll meet you at Carmine's at 5.
I'm holding off on renting the skiploader until the temp gets out of the triple digits.
