Thumbs up Gov. Gibbons, our hero.

Attn NV guys, check this out http://www.sema.org/Main/ArticleDeta...ontentID=57598

Things weren't too tough before as long as you had an older engine, but this opens things up to new engines. Should make life easier.

Default Done!

After 1 1/2 hours yesterday at the DMV (sitting down with tech time, not wait time), I registered my car under this new law. This was this offices (Henderson) first replica registration, so they had to make several calls to make sure they were doing everything correctly. No smog, need to keep the miles under 2,500 a year.

I was #23 out of the 100 available replica registrations available.

Great news! I was wondering how much trouble it would be. Now that you've broken in Henderson, I wonder if thats the best place to go now?

This is great news for you NV guys.

One thing worth noting: In CA for the first year or two there were SPCN (SB100) numbers available quite a while after the 1st of Jan. When I got mine this year they - all 500 - were gone by 1PM on the 1st day. If you are in NV and want to go this route DON'T HESITATE!
