2004 lcs
2004 dyno Different type but it worked. Something like $50 for a couple of pulls.
The dyno guys and gals almost starved that weekend.

I remember - there was also some issues with waiting. I thought it was a good idea at the time.
Dwight, are you driving your GT 40?

sorry about the late post but we attend Unique Motorsports Open House.
Three day event and we had a blast!
Back to the question. No I stopped work on it about two years ago and worked on other people's projects. Cleared three out in the last 3 weeks so now I can work on the GT 40.
I'll have to go back and check all my wiring. I installed a new computer and need make sure I did not miss anything before we crank the motor.
I cleaned out an area in the back room to work on the body but I have to wait two weeks because I have a 427 s.o. coming in. Eddie wants to break it in on my test stand. (it's a dual carb motor) going to be interesting to watch the tuning of the carbs. The motor will go in Col. Mike's CSX6000.
Every weekend I promise myself that I will work on my car one day that week but so far it has not happen.
Thanks for asking because it motivates me to get to work

You you sell the random photos that you put up on the screens during the dinner? I'm sure you'd sell a number of discs!

I've been very busy lately.
Eddie came over and broke in Henson's 427 s.o. on my test stand.
I set it up on the front porch of my shop. In the shade and cool. No exhaust fumes. Worked out well.
Here is a link to My Channel on You Tube where I posted a short video of the motor running. It's bored to about 461 cubic inch. Mild cam. The header and side pipes are some I had in the back room that we used for the test.

I need to get back on the GT 40. My goal is to take it to London Next year!
Dwight

Report on 2017 LCS
I missed the LCS this year. I heard it did not rain on Saturday.
In 17 years it has never rained on Saturday. Friday, yes several times through the years. Sunday oh yea. Drove home in the rain a few times.
Last year it rain early Saturday morning and they had to wait a couple of hours before they could do the burn out. So not technically a rain out.
Could we get a report on the 2017 LCS with lots of pictures? Please
How much did we donate to CF.
Next year raffle car?
Who won the Cobra? I know I did not because I did not get "the phone call"
Dwight

Sorry you missed a good time. ALL day rain on Friday. Beautiful, gorgeous Saturday. Windy, but beautiful for Sunday's drive home. Good speakers Friday and Saturday night. $100K donation to CF. Car winner was not present under the tent. Phone message left. Cincinnati, I think. I got the impression next year's car was a Backdraft with a Craft sbf. Good show, as always, by the OCC.

It was great to see you and your better half. It's hard to imagine that it's been 17 years since the entire event started (and that my hair disappeared so quickly over those years)
Best of luck this week and as mentioned before if there's anything we can do to help, just call.

London Cobra Show pictures
Been many years since I've been to LCS. Stopped by without my car on my way back to Florida from Michigan. Looked like everyone was having a great time.

Any opinions or recommendations on the 2018 LCS Back Draft Built Cobra? Is Back Draft a reputable Builder and are the Specs. on this Cobra equal to or better than standard?

Back Draft is a good company. They sell turnkey minus (drive train) cars.
"equal to or better than standard?"
I'm not sure what you mean by standard. If standard means the typical replica, I would put them in the upper half fairly high. If standard means an original, no they have taken quite a few liberties. The most notable deviation is a longer wheel base. That would be a good thing if you are 7 feet tall.
