Smile LCS '06 financials are in!

Well we finally have a decent handle on finances from the London Cobra Show for 2006 and here they are! These are in round numbers since to the penny will not be know until we have to do the financial statement and income taxes.

Income including DVD and decal sales, registrations, raffle ticket sales, motorcycle donations and the auction
- $92,000.00

Expenses including the raffle car build, advertising, site expenses for autocross, equipment expenses, video production (should be out soon!), shirts for staff, A/V setup, tent, etc, etc, etc
- $25,000.00

Of the net of about $67,000.00, here is what we did with the money:
- $15,000 went to the purchase of the motorcycle for the London Police Department
- $30,000 is going to Cystic Fibrosis
- $1,000 is going to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department’s D.A.R.E program
- $200 is going to St. James Lutheran church

This leaves about $20,800 to pay some lingering bills that we know are coming ($2,000 ish) and the remainder is ‘seed’ money for 2007 expenses that we have to pay early on.

In addition, CF received the following donations as a result of LCS in 2006
- $1,800 from the Cocktail party hosted by our very own Justin Leedy!
- $2,850 in rides given at the show
- $600 donation from the proceeds of t-shirt sales

Bringing CF’s total from this year to $35, 250!

All in all, a great year! Thanks to each and every one of you for supporting CF, LCS and London!

Rick, thanks for posting the info. I'm sure people have no idea how much effort and cost it takes to make this happen! Kudos to everyone that made this show a great success!

Looking forward to next year, and the next raffle car too :-) Ok, Ok, I'll wait until the car is announced and tickets are for sale to start my shameless plugs. LOL BTW - when will that be? I'm feeling withdrawl on not getting mail from Frank every week :-(

Thanks guys! We are trying, and getting close, to getting a finished car here before years end so we can advertise nationally and increase the audience size for ticket sales. Obviously in hopes of helping out CF and charities much more so next year. I have my fingers crossed!

Question How could I forget

I don't know how in the world I could forget this (it might have been the beer ) but we are also giving the London Fire Department $1,000.00

Thank you! We finally had the organizers party over the weekend at Jays house. I had kept that bottle you gave me un-opened and waiting until we where all together to enjoy. It is good stuff! I think I will enjoy a little more this evening

The video is going to be great!!!!

About a hour long, all professionally shot and edited by a guy that has done many auto events. Plus, at least most likely, two more discs, one of raw footage from Mid-Ohio and one slide show type disc of every shot we can get. Hopefully, they will be ready for shipping in the next month or so.

I've still got my video workin'....been covered up at both home and work, though. I've still got it on my plate... I had one completed and when I went to save the final copy, my computer took a crap....lost the entire thing, and about 8 solid hours of work. Hope to get back to it tonight and still make some contribution to the files. Turns out my hard disk filled up...too much porn, I guess... Anyway, I've installed a new disk and hope to have something a a couple of days. Sorry for the delay...

Ok Freddie I'll hold up waiting for your contribution!

We have over 500 great stills some shot by OCC members and some shot by others that have been sent in and are being used for a stills dvd, if you would like to share your shots, send them to me, if we use any you will be given credit as a contributing photographer, and you will need to provide a release statement to the effect that they can be reproduced and sold by OCC.
We intend to make this an add on to the main DVD. We anticipate that this additional DVD will cost just slightly more than our production costs for this additional disc. All proceeds from DVD sales go to OCC Club Coffers.

We should have a web page up on the DVD and ordering info in the next few weeks.
If you would like to submit your stills for inclusion this additional review of LCS 2006, you can send them to
Steve Kump, 215 Harding Way West, Galion, OH 44833

If you have any extra single malt scotch sitting on your bar you can include that also

Thanks
Only 10 months to go til LCS2007
