Which Hotel?
I just got my November issue of Kit Car with the London Show pictues. I want to go but I don't want to stay at some flea-bag Motel. With some of the comments about the places to stay which one is a safe bet?

I've heard the Hampton's already booked full for next year. There will be the two new hotels open that are being built right behind the Hampton, though. They should be open by then I would believe.

Scott Schumaker, Did you ever receive the pics I took of the kids you gave rides to at LCS 08? One was of my son and the other was of an equally excited little guy.

Yes I did...Those were some great pic's. Both of the boys were a hoot to run down the road with. Can't wait until next year to do it all over again!!

Scott, If you think you can't wait, Zach has the picture of the two of you in his room. He reminds me every chance he gets of how much fun he had with you. Thanks again, and we will see you in London for another great time.

I'm planning to attend my first LCS next year, too. The Hampton seems to be the place to stay, but it's booked solid. After reading some of the horror stories on the other hotel options, I booked a room the Marriott Courtyard that is about one mile away from the Hampton.

vanoochka,
I would keep your reservation at the Marriott as a backup, but since it will be your first LCS I would try to get into one of the two new hotels being built. Keep watching www.londoncobrashow.com for info on the new hotels.

LCS new hotel 411
I am planning my first trip to LCS and starting looking into hotels during new years weekend. I found that the Hampton and Days Inn are booked up. During my conversation with existing hotels in the area, they informed me that the new hotels are a Holiday Inn Express (Maxwell Place) and a Marriott Courtyard (address ?). The Holiday Inn Express is accepting reservations through their main reservation number (1-800-465-4329). The scheduled completion is approximately June 17. I suggest a back up if you reserve a room here. However the sheets will only be a few days old! As for the Marriott Courtyard it does not show up at this time on the Marriott master list. I do not have a much insight on this second alternative. I hope this helps the organizers and look forward to the event.
Regards,
Bobby

Bobby,
Thanks fo the info. We too just got more info on the new hotels at our last meeting. We have one of our organizer members on top of it. He found out pretty much the same thing. They should be ready, but I would have a backup.
