Lone star hard top side curtains
I have ordered a LS427 with a hard top option. I want to add side curtains or plexiglass windows. I know that because of 4" stretch I can not use a generic solution. Does anyone have any experience with putting side curtains or fabricating side windows (preferably with a sliding window)?

Hard top installation
I purchased my Lone Star with the hard top and my understanding of the install is that holes are needed in the body. When driving without the top what is used to cover up the holes?
My baby is about half complete😜

Holes in the body are just behind the doors for the top. They have ferrules in them to look purdy. Side curtains use the same thing but there are typically 3 ferrules per door.

I was under the impression that the holes were bigger than the size of a ferrule????

I have a buddy with a hardtop on his B&B who lives Birmingham Ala. He drives his Cobra every day that it does not rain. Every day!
He has side curtains but removed them soon after he had the top installed and drives year around without them. He uses his wind wings and heater.
I see that you live in the great state of Texas. You could wait and drive your Cobra with the top and see if you need the curtains.
Mike logs about 6,000 to 8,000 miles a year on his Cobra. He email me last winter and told me the top was rock solid at 142 mph. Something about a BMW trying to pass him on the interstate. His speedo is 1 mph off at 80. I checked it with a GPS. So the 142 should be close.

That's different and innovative. I bet the deer doesn't hang around long when the side pipes come to life.
