Join Ivy Tech State College for the Kit Car Build School to be held March 19, 20 and 21.
This three day class will outline kit car construction and provide you with the hands-on learning environment to make your build a positive experience. Imagine something as simple as a project tool list to something as exhaustive as building a kit car in three days. During the class, you will learn from industry professionals who have combined experience in the kit car industry and motorsports. We will be building a Lone Star Classics LS427.
Ivy Tech is located in downtown Indianapolis. We are an open-access, non-profit state college. You can register for the class by contacting Scott Horvath. Negotiated hotel rates are available for out-of-town participants. Your activity will noted on a non-credit transcript and you will receive a certificate of completion for the class. This class is TAP sponsored.
The mission of the Kit Car Build School is to demonstrate kit construction and provide hands-on instruction, illustrate proper procedures while highlighting common errors or mistakes, resource the market and industry for vendors of kits, options and shops and provide set-up instructions for the student to recreate the process. This class is open to all skill levels. You will construct a Cobra replica in class under the instruction of our faculty and receive individual instruction on skills such as wiring and tubing.
The cost of the class is $999 and includes a $2500 coupon towards the purchase of a kit from Lone Star Classics. Class size is limited to ensure quality instruction and classes are held at the Ivy Tech campus in downtown Indianapolis, IN.
