I hope not, but as long as they stay back far enough so it seems like there not with us...and they park in the GM reserved parking it's fine

I'm in..
Tony,
Any way we can consolidate this thread with the other one that Jam started with the same topic as there were a bunch signing up there too? Could lead to duplication so maybe we can have this or the other deleted?
Ray

Sorry Tony...I started the thread last week because the guys were asking to get it out there and you were knee deep in alligators with the intake gaskets . I hope it's done now !

The last time I came out for one of these events I observed at least 2 cars were going faster than the posted speed limit. Can I presume that such behavior will not be the tolerated on Saturday? By the way, what is the posted limit on the way to the Hamptons?
Assuming dry weather I can probably catch the 8:00 ferry to PJ. Again I ask, is anyone putting a wife or girlfriend in the right seat?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, News Channel 12 just said rain for Sat & Sun. This Thurs actually looked the best, not sure how that really helps though.

Bob to answer your question, wifes and girlfriends and guy's who are married with girlfriends are all welcome. Im not sure who's going at this point, since not many have commited to the run, I can not say how many females will be joining us.

Well once again the guys on the island know how to have a good time. Thanks to Harvey and Tony for the rides to and from the Hamptons. The average of 80+ east bound was mild compared to the sub sonic ride back. Now I really know why they call it the "scream seat".

Bob...Im glad you had a good time, sorry about the "Scream Seat" but we were going fast enought that we didn't even get wet during that bit of rain.
Next saturday is the cookout at Nicks, hope you can make it

What a great ride!
Nice turnout and a good ride out to Oakland's Restaurant in Hampton Bays. What a treat to see these gorgeous machines in all different colors, especially Dr. Vito's CSX. I DO have a pic of it but Tony A. was under it and since I just met Vito, I'd better not post that one... (edited for image size, for hi-res image, go to my gallery)

Click on the little camera under my screenname...
If that doesn't work, here's a link to the large picture:

if it's not clickable, just copy and paste it onto another browser window.
Enjoy,

Question on the closest red cobra in the pic. I went to Oakdale (Wendy's) this evening (07/13/06) and saw, what appeared to be the same car. Was wondering what manufacture the body was.

That, I believe is a Superformance Mk III, one of if not the best of the replicars available today. The red car in the picture is also one of the best ones I've seen. It is truly in concours condition.
