Spring BBQ
hello fellow cobra boys,
what do you guys think about having a spring BBQ over at nicks place in a couple of weeks to kick off the driving season, maybe May 13th or May 20th? i will check with nick this saturday to make sure this works for him.
i will take care of all the cooking and setting up if we all kick in $5.00 it will help offset the cost.
lets hope for a big turn out.
Bobby B

Great idea!
Unfortunately, I can't make it for the 13th, I'm hosting a spring run to Mattituck, then ferry to Shelter Island, lunch, ferry to Sag Harbor, then drive to Southampton, for the classic Mini club: LIMENY.

Ok guys we got Nicks blessing for the 13th. Let’s hope for a nice day and make sure you come hungry, lunch will be served at noon. The menu for this day will be burgers, dogs, sausage and ribs with sides of salads. If you can confirm making it to our BBQ it will help me out with preparing enough food.

Bobby,
Thank you for putting it together again. Anything that you can think of that we might need, let me know. I will take an inventory this weekend and see what items we are short.
Later.................JJ

What time does the BBQ start - end.

This past winter I discovered 2 Jack Daniels bottles in my cabinet. Thanks girls for the extra party favors ! Sipped those babies for months .
But...a few weeks ago I picked up some Jameson's Irish Whiskey.
That's my new discovery. Now I'm a spoiled old drunk !
Got to get some for the track weekend !

Thanks for the great BBQ lunch!
Wow! Some spread we had there! I'm salivating just thinking of the ribs, that was something else. Then, sausage and peppers too? I thought the grille was just for show but Pat did his thing and those dogs 'n burgers looked extra yummy; sorry I was too full already to have any. Great food, great crowd. Oh, and the Gods blessed us with a sunny day on a forecast rainout...what more could one want?
Thanks again, Bobby for getting this together. A cool gig for sure. I didn't spot the JD, though
