SAAC31 Anybody going?
Although it would be a good 8-9 hour trailer run, SAAC31 should be worth going to this year. VIR is definitely a great venue. I was just wondering if anyone was going? I was thinking of heading down Friday June 30th and back Monday July 3rd. I also heard that some guys (HRE-based) were shipping their cars to and from VIR via multi-car hauler. Sounds like a good idea.

I'll be there
I'll be there whether or not the ERA 427 is ready. Can't wait to see some of my old Cobra buds.

I'm flying down and getting a rental (I wonder if a Hertz Mustang is available?). I can't wait to see a gathering of real stuff and put a few faces to names.

Heading to VIR with ERA 409. Couldn't decide whether to take the Mustang or the Cobra, but had to choose . . . trailer is good for one car only. The Cobra won out.

Great and hoping to meet up with you guys down there.
BTW, I used to have a sales account in Danville (Dan River Mills) and was there at least 2X a month in the 90's. I always flew into Greensboro, NC, rented a Hertz Mustang convertible, and drove the hour up to Danville, VA. I would think they'd have the Mustangs again. It IS a nice drive and usually State Trooper free.
Any Long Island Cobras going?

I will be there as well, taking the whole crew in the family car. I plan to drive all day Friday and enjoy the meet Saturday and Sunday. It would be great to meet at a particular location as a small group to put names with faces.
Just a thought,
Jeff

I like Jeffs suggestion to try and meet somewhere. We can keep that in mind and communicate any good ideas here. What about wearing our CC shirts?? Jeff I can't believe your only an hour South of me and your driving! Ron that would make it a fun drive from Boston..... I'm arriving Thurs night at 10.20 in Raleigh. Staying at the Days Inn in Yanceyville if that coincides with anyones schedule, need a ride etc.

I just spoke to Bill Andrews (HRE) and apparently, everyone he knows who's going (from the LI area) are trailering their own. Last year, he had 16 guys who pooled and hired a couple of rigs but this year, only 8 and then they all changed their minds about the rigs. Ron, are you bringing your car?
