Ok, here's another try...had to make them awfully small though.

Not really what I had in mind. I'll try again tomorrow...I have a headache now.

We had rain all weekend so I didn't go anywhere in the Cobra. I'm not too
worried about snow, so there is always next weekend to look forward to.

Lived in Oak Beach for 20 years. Moved to Fla in 2001. Bought my SPF in 2006Ocean Parkway is an awesome drive. Loved blasting my Vette over the Captree Bridge. If I still lived on LI, You'd see my Cobra at the OBI lot every weekend

Wearing an "Elmer Fudd" hat while driving a Cobra in freezing weather...... a necessity.
The look on peoples faces................. PRICELESS

My son and I went to get gas (well sort of... ) We drove through town a little then to the gas station (top down).

34 degrees out heater works well.

Told the better half, that we needed a full tank in her for winter. Just couldn't resist a little drive!

Sal,
Keeping it on Long Island - I'm out every weekend (so far) - went to Nicks late on Saturday and then went for a ride. It got cool but the seat heaters do help. The guys are still going to Captree on Sunday and its a nice ride over the bridge to the boat basin.
Last week I did a run along 25A west through Northport and back south and around just to drive. Just felt good to run with lots of waves and thumbs up. The cold days just take a leather jacket, scarf, turtleneck, hat and a good set of ...

""I was out for about 5 hours driving around, but it gets boring by yourself after a while""

Sal
I've been badly sunburned, sweat like a pig, freezing cold, beat up by the wind, had ringing in my ears for hours, my hair whipped into knots but I can safely say I have never been bored while driving my cobra.
I didn't make captree this morning 12/10, but I was out this afternoon for a run down Ocean Parkway. 50 degrees was too nice to pass up.

Tony

I didn't do Captree today, but a friend did and said there had to be 500 cars there.

I spent the day with the local Marauder club out at Calrverton. It was nicer today than it was last Sunday.

I was out yesterday for a quick ride (12/9), and man was it cold above 60mph. Of course was also after 3:00pm. I wanted to get out again today, but I just ran out of time. For the LI guys, why don't we try an get quick run in next weekend? I'm up for it if anyone else is. Doesn't have to be anything fancy or too long/far. Not sure what the temps are suppose to be taht far out. Let me know your thoughts.

My buddy and I were out cruising for about 2 hrs. Saw a bunch of other nice cars out too. Looked warmer than it was. Still needed the "Elmer Fudd" hat though.

We don't have a top but we only stop driving around when the rain comes in faster than the holes in the floor boards can drain. Don't want to ruin a pair of good $1.99 flip flops....

Rode for about 40 minutes on Sunday after putting up Christmas lights. Not to bad.... However, the days like this are numbered. We have to grabb'em when we can.

Tony,

sounds good. Keep me posted. Sometimes I feel like I'm the bad luck charm with the rain.

Are they calling for rain all weekend, or just Sun?
