On the road Saturday and Sunday – North Shore, South Shore, all over Long Island. Did an afternoon run to Captree with my best girl on Sunday – 55 degrees and better in December – Indian Summer – love it. Even did some Christmas shopping!

Nick...on the way to Captree I was playing with a couple of vipers and fighting the cross winds over the bridge... the cobra started to change lanes.. made for some interesting driving.
Captree was very crowded this morning, met Fred, Power Surge and Slojo and saw a few other unknown Cobra's. I went out again this afternoon, no wind...very nice ride for the middle of December.

Took a ride today
Coach Mike, Doc and I took a 175 mile ride today ( DEC 17 th ) in our Cobras. We live in North Alabama. It was 70 degrees!!! I still wore my leather helmet, scarf and heavy coat. Wet air at 70 mph is cold to me. Mike's has a hard top and heater ( cheater ) so he and Doc wore t-shirts. We had a great time visiting my daughter and a couple of our car buddies in Huntsville, Ala. I've got to finish my hard top so I can drive when it's cold.
See ya on the road.

Topless
Was able to get out Saturday for a nice long ride and getting those break-in miles on the car. Had a guy stop by on Sunday who is looking at buying a car and not sure what make to buy. After a short ride and a few "quick sprints" he couldn't get the smile off his face. That man is bitten. The best part of the mid December rides...topless and no heater. I'll take it as long as I can.

Taking a "sick day" this Thursday and hope to get out for a quick run. Yeah, Captree was great, crowded, but not unmanageable. I think I actually like it down there better after the 'season'.

Absolutly. Took owner ship of a new Backdraft in 10/28/06 and have not stopped drining since. Sat and Sun were just awsome. Today a friend and I went to Greenwich CT for a cruise meet were several vintage cars were showed including 3 other cobras besides mine.
Since 10/28/06 I was lucky enough to rack up 2150 Miles.
Its just too fun.

It hit 59 degrees on Long Island on Saturday and I took the car out - Felt Great! Stopped at Nicks, it felt so good out I decided to put on some miles. I took a ride to Jones Beach and ran the crossway to Captree. The ocean breeze was a little cool but all I could think about was spring and summer. Can’t wait!

Wife called me at 3:15 last Friday afternoon...was getting off work earlly and suggested little drive since it was 50 degrees out...I rushed home , checked all the fluids and tires(they needed some spring air so I changed all 4) and had it warmed up by the time she got home...man was that cool...her idea! Took about an hour ride around our small town getting all the ^5's from all those envious individuals...dont ya just love it? You got one and they dont.

Took first ride Sat
Took my son out for the first time this Sat. Stayed around Port Jefferson. Can't wait for more days like that. Long range weather looks good for either Sat or Sun (if they get it right).

I had a lot of appointments in the shop for Saturday, so I missed the almost 60 degree air.
But I took the car out on Sunday. It was cold as hell, but still worth it. I could drive this thing all day long.

More like,
One dark day in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys came out to fight,
Back to Back, they faced each other,
Drew their swords and shot one another.
If you believe this tail so true, ask the blind man,
Cause he saw it too.
