Anyone still driving?
Was a little chilly today, but nothing a set of gloves and a hat couldn't fix. Was a really nice drive, I was out for about 5 hours driving around, but it gets boring by yourself after a while .
Anyone here still driving their car?

Sal,
Glad to hear that you got to go for a ride. I was out yesterday running some erands, and noticed that I was just about to roll 1K miles on the odometer.
Since I was joy-riding in the expensive part of town, I found a nice quiet cul-de-sac, and did a couple of celibretory donuts...and then got out of Dodge!!
What fun!! I think I'll do it again today.
Ron

Here is the mountains of Colorado everyone has put up their Cobras. I have about 18 inches of snow in my driveway. I do not think the little car could manage that. Just wait until next spring.

Well, I kinda meant locally, but that's okay!
Ron, you got some pics of 357 together? Would love to see!
Pat, good to hear from you, hope all is well. You still have a Cobra?

Sal,
I'll take her out today and snap a couple of shots. I haven't posted any photos here, so it may take me awhile to figure it all out. In any case, I'll see if I can get it done tonight.

Thirteen rides in November
One ride today for about an hour (45 ºF). Expect up to 3 inches snow tomorrow. Boooooooooo
I never winterize my Cobra other than add Stabil. When the sun is out and the streets are dry ... its time for a ride.

Sun went down
Just got back from a trip to Atlantis in the Bahamas and wanted to go for a ride. I didn't put the top on but cranked up the heater. It wasn't too bad until the sun went away and then IT GOT COLD.
Hope to get a few more rides in around the Monmouth County area.

Sal
I drove the cobra to Nicks yesterday and even though it was only 42 degrees this morning I went to Captree...two other cobra's also made the trip...it warmed up a bit for the ride home..the best part was the viper and vettes I got to play with going over the bridge and down the causway.
The extended forcast for next weekend should be about the same sunny and mid 40's.... if thats the case I'll be out again..

Oh Yeah!
We ran the First Friday Night Rally put on by the Santa Monica Sports Car Club. It started at 8:01 PM at the Bank of America at Devonshire and Sepulveda. It ended in Ventura after about 90 minutes of running the curviest roads in the Santa Monica Mountains. You guys just don't know what you're missing! We very nearly won the thing, too. The next one will be January 5th. Man, it's almost 2008!

It's been chilly up north of you in upstate NY, but I'm still driving SPF887 to work pretty much every day (with the top on...). Cold, but not as cold as those of you who are still driving "topless"!!!
Winter driving adds to the excitement of driving a Cobra. Cold tires are much more traction challenged, and you have to watch carefully for gravel. Nothing like hitting a slight cover of gravel/sand (from the salt/sanding trucks) on a corner at speed!!!
JB, let's see a photo of you driving your Cobra in your "Elmer" hat

I drove it to work (18 miles) Thursday morning at 8:00am, it was somewhere near 38 degrees and then home again at 9:30 at night, mid 40's. Sure beats leaving it covered in the garage or in front of the house while the roofing crew is doing their thing. But it was a little cool.. .............

Took mine out for about an hour today topless.
It was, shall we say, "refreshing", even with heated seats!

Sal,
Here are a couple of shots...sorry about the color. My wife had changed some settings on the camera, and I didn't know.
Ops, that didn't work. See my gallery until I figure out how to attach an image .

I logged about 160miles here in RI today! Sure it was cold <understatement> but the car ran great and I got a chance to clear my mind of more than a few cob-webs.

Drove from Bakersfield to Ventura, (about 250 miles round trip) met up with Ventura Cobra club for lunch. I didn't count but would guess about 25 cobras & 12 corvettes. Xlent cobra weather. First trip out
of town for KMP218X....... Ron

Had to run a couple of errands today. The roads dry and the sun out... just had to take the Cobra. It was just 40 degrees. No top, no heat... just that wonderful thump of a 427 loving the cold air. Great ride, about 20 miles. Took me an hour to warm up when I got home, but worth every minute. I am afraid this is it. Talk of snow coming....
