Default A Track On Long Island ?

Well....at least that's how the ad read in the latest SK Speed sales newsletter. No...it's not another petitioning website. There is much more this forum. Hey...when there's snow on the roof you may be logging on to this website as one of your favorites !! .

Hey Jim, did you see the ad for the 100 foot drags in the same issue, they're having one this Friday night at Nassau Coliseum. All street cars are eligible.

We have tracks on Long Island that rival the best in the country.....

231 dragway not only has a concrete starting line but the entire 1/4 mile is concrete...and an up hill slow down area over Sunrise Highway....for the top end guy's.......Ocean Parkway Concrete Flats...

I remember "National Speedway" out on long island. I think it was in Centerreach. I used to race there when I was in high school. Then all these people started building houses around there full well knowing that the dragstrip was there, only to complain that it was "too loud" Stupid losers!

They had to shut it down years ago because of "these" people

I first raced at National Speedway in 74' right after I purchased my brand new 74' Dodge Challenger 360....although it was not that fast...but fun to do all the same....A land developer bought the speedway and I believe it was a retirement community....then all we had was west hampton...although even back then I perferred Deer Park Ave/231...
