Not to worry, the cops will probably be at Dunkin Donuts.
We'll stay for lunch.

Jay:
At Exit 12 we can meet right at the bottom of the ramp. Just park on the side of the road. I'm meeting Bobby at the ferry and we will head right to Exit 12. The boat is scheduled to arrive at 10:15. I figure we will be at the Exit shortly after 10:40 give or take.
The weather is still looking good as of Friday night!
Bob

I'm thinking about adding one more to the pack from NY but........I've done this before and I'm not trying to rain on anybody's parade here but it tends to turn into a road race and not a casual cruise for everyone to enjoy. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the quick spirited bursts from time to time but if you continually go over the speed limit and start to lose sight of the group then whats the point. Cars pulling out from the side streets now have a chance to get in line and slow you down even further which adds to the aggravation. You're not sure where to go and make a wrong turn and the rest of the Cobras behind you make the same wrong turn. The wife gets PO'd when you try to keep up and then its not fun anymore. (I know...leave the wife home) but I think its more fun when 25 or more cars stay together because I find that other cars are more willing to give you some common courteousy to allow you to stay as a group.
So I'd like to make one suggestion.... before the lead car makes any turns, pull over and make sure you have everbody behind you if possible. Trying to drive these cars and read a map is just CRAZY.
EDIT: we obviously where posting at the same time and I hadn't seen the guidelines yet, hopefully they will work....count me in.

Guidelines? We don't need no stinkin' guidelines. I agree, going fast to catch up is not fun.
If everyone would PM me your cell phone #, I'll compile a list of participants and send back to the group.

Hey Trueoo7:
You make a good point. There is plenty of road between Bridgeport and Thomaston to move along. I'm sure if we stay tight and maintain a reasonable pace we will not lose anybody on the way to Litchfield. We can form-up again leaving Litchfield.
Tomorrow morning is supposed to be chilly. All you guys with oil coolers (and especially those who like to run 20W-50 dyno oil) should consider plugging them with foam rubber or something (I use a piece of plexi). Let's not be breaking those distributor gears in an effort to get 90 PSI on our oil pressure gauge.
I'm ready, got my hat, got my gloves, got my camera, the gas tank is full!
Bob
