Default NY Inspection info needed

Does anybody know of a place to get my Cobra weighed? The State wants a weight certificate showing the weight of my cobra.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Tim

If your near Deer Park - on Brook Ave just north of Bay Shore Rd look for a metal company on the right I think the address number is 45 - cost around $10 you get a slip to take with you for the DMV
Go with an empty gas tank - they use the weight to set your tag price!
Keep going north on Brook and you'll find Mustang Magic

Do you know about Classic Concepts - Go north of the Southern State at Straight Path go left at Edison Avenue go one block its the building on the corner. We meet at Nick's (the owner) every Saturday morning. Good bunch of guys - all Cobra guys. Nick works on the cars (not me different Nick)- come check it out. http://classicconceptsltd.com/default.aspx

If you need any additional help with inspection or what have you - just ask.

you can also weigh your car at any Moving & Storage facility. Just check in at the office first then drive your car on to their scale. They may charge a few bucks .

Hi Dave -
Nick is still going strong - you can just stop by the shop to set an appointment or give him a call at 631 643-4611
Best of luck with the car

The web site is still up Kitcarmag.com
but if you go into Subscribe area no Kit Car Mag is listed. A lot of people paid to extend their subscriptions and its gone - It seems that the alternative mag they are giving is Hot Rod Mag
Not exactly a match
