Default CAR GODS are MAD at ME :-(

Does anyone know how to get back into graces with the "CAR GODS?" They are mad at me and working hard against an engine start and I really need to get back into their graces

Can anyone help

My first day with available time and I find that I left the ignition switch on the other day and drained the battery.....guess the tender was no match for the drain......now I have to wait for the battery to charge before I can try again

Earl,

Battery tenders are only meant to monitor the battery and keep it at full charge while it is setting, not to charge a dead one or keep it charged with a power drain like the key being left on. Get a charger and charge the battery and then when you aren't running the motor, put the tender on it AFTER turning the key off.

Earl,

Maybe you should consider an automatic shutdown and start somewhat like the new Corvettes have. When you get so far from the car it shuts everything off and locks itself.

Don't feel bad, I left my blower on and ran the battery down while parked at the Wiensnitzel. I guess I had 3 beers in 3 hours....dead battery...good thing the Car Gods told me to park on a hill.

Sounds like you need a Battery Minder not a Tender.
They will monitor the battery & before it gets too low will auto dis-connect, leaving you ample to start the engine after you reset with the remote.
The remote also allows you to dis-connect when you are leaving the car unattended giving you added security.
Yes I have one, very easy to install. I have never had it de-activate the battery yet as I try not to leave the lights, blower or ignition on when leaving the car. LOL
