Ernie,

Let Wall St. collapse, screw AIG, GM is down for the count, don't spend a freakin' dime on anything, close up the treasury, let the banks fail, less Government oversight of the companies and CEO's that gambled the money away, etc. Do NOTHING, scew 'em all!! Don't worry about the Global impact on other National economies, we've rescued their sorry azz'es enough all ready. With "luck" a war might break out and then we'll really be in good economic shape.

I am not in total agreement with that statement but a fair amount of it is true. Govt. oversight with this bunch of monkeys is a farce. Wasn't it the Govt, both parties that decided several years ago that it would make a better America with LESS Govt. intervention? We agree on many of the basics, just not on how or by whom they should be implemented. And yes the economy will eventually recover, but there will not be the amount of jobs there was before.

Ron

Let "nature" will run it's course and stocks will recover in due time, the economy will be fine, no need for Government intervention. Anything the Government might do to stablize the economy is gonna be wrong, wrong, wrong, no matter what, so we don't need them to interfere, we don't want them to interfere.

OOkkkk then, that's quite a platform you guys are working on. Sounds like a helluva plan, or possibly, "sour grapes".

Standard liberal answer to all who do not totally agree with every aspect of their philosophy. "So you want to do nothing?" Because liberals have the conceit of pseudo righteousness and hear no plans but their own. Hundreds of alternate plans have been suggested on the economy, health care, climate, national debt, and more. Suggested by independents, conservatives, and even Republicans. Total heard by liberals? Nothing.
Agree 100% or be wrong is the liberal stance.
