Default Carroll Shelby's airplanes for sale

Name: Shelby.jpg

I got an interesting email about Carroll Shelby selling some of his airplanes. I sometimes visit the Mt.Pleasant ,Texas R/C model field and Shelby will fly over
in his Howard with his pilot.

Good Afternoon,

I have been asked to help Carroll Shelby sell several of his aviation related assets including his beautiful Piper Pacer. Price is $37,500. It has less than 10 hours since ground up restoration that was completed in 2008. New Ceconite Fabric & Dope Finish, Zero timed 150 hp engine, good VFR avionics. Cream with Blue strip. Has a fresh November 2009 Annual inspection.

Here is a recent photo of Carroll flying the Pacer with me over his farm in Pittsburg . If you know of anyone wanting a very nice, low time aircraft, please send them my way. Thanks to Nathan, I am pretty sure I can provide coast to coast delivery for gas and a one way ticket back home.

I am sending this out to my flying friends first, and if it is not sold within the next week or so, I will get it listed in the regular publications.

Coming Soon, we have a total of 4 Howard DGA Projects, of which two are pretty far along complete with overhauled engines. Also have a Complete Rerwin Sportster project. On gear with wings off and uncovered. Wings need to be rebuilt. Have two zero time 400 hp IO-720 engines in crates. Looks like I might be selling his two 700 Aerostars as well. Any one have interest in any of these items let me know.

Please forward this information to your flying buddies and ask them to do the same.

I prefer email over phone. scott@historicalairtours.com

903-573-**** is my cell if you need to talk to me. Text this number works great as well.

Happy New Year,

Scott Glover

I know a couple of pilots and sent the info to them. They'd probably be candidates for the Piper. Heck, I would but then I'd have another expensive hobby to sustain. Cameras and a Cobra are enough.

Would it be $10,00 less without the CS ownership?
