Kwik Lift & Race Deck

Any others out there with a Kwik Lift on a Race Deck floor. Did you end up bolting your Kwik Lift down??? Or, what did you do to keep it from sliding around on the Race Deck????

I realize this is only a problem when driving on or off of the lift, but it still is a problem that needs addressing........Thanks, Earl

I have a Kwik Lift on Race Deck flooring and it has been there for about 10 years. I have never had any problem with anything sliding at all. I have driven all of my cars on and off the Kwik Lift and it just doesn't move at all.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong then, cause the first time I went to put the car on the rack after installing the Race Deck the rack wanted to slide......

I've even got the uprights waited down with about 100 pounds of weight each andd it still wanted to slide

That I don't understand. I don't even have any weights on mine at all. They are just like I put them together and I have never had them move an inch and I have put some 4,000 pound cars on them. I called a friend who has basically the same set up that I have and he said his had never tried to slide even when he had them out on his concrete driveway which has a smooth finish. That front lift bar on mine is so heavy I have to use the floor jack just to lift it when I want to take them apart.

Ernie, Excaliber, drove his Cobra onto them with no problem at all.
