Default Think your garage door is safe?

Saw this posting on another forum and thought I would share it here..

Most have prevented it with wire ties to secure the lever.

Thanks Ray but this is a duplicate thread.

That's one of the reasons I disconnected my garage door opener. Now I have locks located inside. Kind of a pain when putting the cars away but worth the extra effort.

Mine works just the opposite of that and I have it locked anyway as I never use it. But to open mine with the manual release you have to be inside and able to pull it back toward the inside of the garage and it is pretty hard to release.

Hey, Thanks a lot!
I went out and looked at both of my doors,.... even I could get in in 6 seconds.
I will be installing some sort of preventative obstruction above the headers. When I go away from home I shut off the power at the wall switch and dead bolt the insides, but that's only when I leave town, what about when I'm at the store or just out?

Thanks Cobra Club, Bill
