Default Someone help, please...........

The other day I was cruising thru the site and was looking at different pictures. In one of them I spotted a gas cap mounted just behind the passenger rollbar, which I think (don't shoot please if I'm wrong) is the 289 style. This gas cap had a wall 2/3rds of the way around it to keep fuel from splashing on the passenger. I could not print it out at the time and wrote down some info so I could find it again. Well, the wifey, in one of her cleaning frenzy's, threw out the piece of paper. I have done numerous searches trying to find it again but no luck. Does anyone have or know of a picture of what I speak of??

Thanks, Earl

The fuel tank is located behind the seats on the small block cars...did you have a specific question about it or did you just notice the location was different? The purpose of the "cowling" was actually to keep fuel from being "sucked out" at speed more-so than protecting the passenger..(that's what I thought it was for originally as well).

Allen, I saw the shield and wondered about making one for mine since the filler neck is in the same realative location. I have been torn between leaving it there or moving it to the right side. Since I just today found DV's post where he sells the wells I might consider moving it again.

Thanks, Earl
