My wife owns the kitchen, dining room, living room, family room, bedroom, and bathroom. I own the garage and yard. Understanding and respecting boundaries is important in a marriage!
Sometimes I sleep in the yard...

I have a 40x60 garage, that said this is the breakdown of space allotted; my shop 28x32 her studio 12x32, the parking area has 3 spaces, 1 for the 63 Merc, 1 for my F350 crew cab, and 1 for her mini-van and this works very well, no banged doors and room to load/unload stuff in bad weather. A picture of my garage is in my gallery.

In the garage, she keeps her BMW and HER bass boat. She lets me park my Dodge hemi in there.
I have a 40' X 40' shop for the Cobra and my tools, etc. Every once in awhile, I'll catch her moving some yard equipment (rakes, mower, etc) from the garage over to my shop. I have to keep hauling them back into the garage. She's getting pretty sneakly about it.
BTW, she keeps HER garage cleaner than I keep my shop!

So it's time for the women to speak! My husbands '78 TA and my Cobra are side by side in our standard size garage. He now enjoys when I come out to tinker around and said I am welcome to "our" garage when I want. Gotta keep the women happy!
