Default Miracle on Route 80

Alright it was no Miracle on the Hudson but driving along on route 80 today when a birds swoops up in front of my car and clips the corner of my windshield.

I actually ducked because I though it was going to hit me on the head.

I guess it is on of the risks of going topless.

That will teach you to leave your own territory, you should know better than getting off RT287 or 202/206.

Bill S.

PS: The reality of it is that the bird (most likely a red tailed hawk or turkey vulture) was after it's lunch. They get very focused and do not see the cars/trucks coming at them.

I think the bird survived but I am sure it had its bell rung.

Bill, now that my son is older and I got him a car seat I can actually use my car more frequently. I am enjoying my car all over again with my son.

Lots of miles to come.
