Default Flying solo

How many of you guys have a wife that just doesn't get a single bit of the whole Cobra thing? Mine has no concept of why guys like cars, bikes, boats, planes, etc. I have told her of my history with cars and motocycles (thanks, Dad!) as a kid, all the crazy stuff I did in the military, my wrenching on airplanes and bikes, that I road-raced motorcycles and was an on-track instructor at a racing school, and on and on.

Thing is, she just doesn't see how any of that can possibly be interesting to her at all. Makes it hard to share the experience.

Anyone else flying solo with your Cobra project?

Eric

Ha, don't feel alone...my wifey won't have anything to do with it since i took her to the 1st car show and she got a snake bite as i was distracted by Cobra fans just after shutting her down. How hard can it be to fill that vacant seat???

My wife likes ours and will drive it herself. Even takes it to the library now and then with our daughter.

Default It's OK!

There's no rule that says you have to share all your activities with your wife. In fact, I believe it's healthy for your relationship for you both to have activities in which you both do not share. As long as there are still things you enjoy together. I speak from 30 years of experience......

Been married almost 50 years now and my wife has been very good about participation in most of my activites. In the early days she would jump on the back of my motorcycle and hit the road, that ended when the kids came along. She loved boating, didn't care about water sports but was always there to particpate. Her favorite is camping and traveling in the 5th. wheel but things changed when I built the cobra.
Can't keep her out of the Cobra....heat, rain, wind and long trips are her thing, so how lucky am I.

Perhaps you can get a really cool dog and take it with you...they always love to ride. Good luck, Bill
