T82 6 speed issues

Last weekend my son bought a car he has wanted for a long time, a current Boss 302. I accompanied him and we had an pleasant, fun, spirited 8 hour return drive to get back. Soon after the car and the transmission were warm we began to realize there was a potential problem with the 5th gear syncro (new car!)
After carefully assessing our potential shortcomings and with the fact that the clutch WAS being fully depressed we decided there definately was a problem. Then he found this today.......wonderful:

Thank you China!

The article is from Nov 2011 - I'm surprised that you didn't go on-line to do some research, but more surprised that the Ford dealer didn't say something about this to you and your son when the car was purchased.

Yea like he's going to tell us there is a problem with the trans?
