Just an update:
Looks like Greenville, SC has now been bumped to the top of our list.
Have to figure out some logistics, like employment, housing, local car clubs, etc But this is only the second area we have even gotten this far on (Charlotte being the first)......This particular area has so much going for it, and is so close to both Atlanta and Charlotte, that we believe it to be an excellent place to investigate further.

Job opportunities are very good since it has one of the most diverse economies in the southeast: Michelin, BMW, GE, Flour Daniel, several other large technical businesses produce a demand for all sorts of other businesses.
I'd be happy to give you a tour if you ever want to visit!

PS Will be out for a drive in my ERA tomorrow - no top or heater!

I've visited there many times and always thought it was a great place. Just learn how to say "y'all" and you'll be a local in no time...

Bobcat,, careful here in Wilkes with that word. See lots of those cats mounted for trophy display.
The few cobras here I know of are driven. Suppose some garage queens (unfinished) too though, so I've heard.
Also, best of luck mrmustang at finding a new location.

Bill,
Just saw your post on FFR forum about visiting Greenville last weekend. Would have loved to have had a chance to talk to you. Hope you enjoyed the visit.
