CSX 2393 encounter
I took my daughter out for a ride this morning and happened by a "Cars and Coffee" going on. Told my daughter we'd just cruise through, but then we spotted a Cobra. Turned out it was CSX 2393. Originally silver, it was painted black a number of years ago. The previous owner of 40 years used reproduction seats in the car to preserve the originals and the current owner put the original seats back in, which is what you see in the interior photo below. The odometer shows 123,000 miles. Anyway, no big deal but, although there are supposedly a number of originals in the area, this is the first one I've run across so cool to see it in person. 111 miles later and I'm home...great day.

Current owner is a real character when you get three or four cups of coffee in him. Tell him I say hello next time you run across him.

Will do. He was a nice, friendly guy to talk to and he checked out my "lowly" ERA. It was obvious that he's enjoying life and owning an original Cobra was a life-long dream of his. I just missed his wife, who was there with her Kirkham...
