I have to write off your classic Innuendo ass just being ignorant with all of your "342" posts on Club Cobra, you obviously haven't quite figured out how "We" react to each other, especially with honest questions.
What kind of information were you expecting to hear?
Maybe you should read my very FIRST thread and all the other subsequent threads where I have asked for "Just the Fact please", and no Pun intended!

The facts, as being reported just 20 minutes ago, are that the nurse did not follow proper protocol. That perfectly supports what I eluded to earlier.
Despite the snarky exchange, I actually do agree with you that they are underestimating the ease of transmission. However, when you have people working in close contact to someone who is coughing, spitting up blood (as well as coming out all other orifices), having diarrhea, and vomiting out a disease that can live for days in the open environment, it makes the transfer a bit more viable...of course, in my opinion.

CBS just reported (National Radio) that protocol was broken, BUT "they" have NO Idea yet of what, or rule/ procedure was broken?
This statement was from the Hospital Spokesman!

So not even a full protective suit that they spray off as you implied earlier.

Per your post she had multiple contacts with the deceased. Per your post she failed to follow protocol. Per CNN, FOX & CBS national radio they all agree with you.
But - NOW of the ten minutes after your posting about protocol, all three news outlets reported she broke protocol. Within that ten minutes, the Hospitals official spokesman went public stating that they DO NOT know how she, (the Nurse) was infected, only that she had broken protocol. They Are still trying to find out what procedure she broke. ??
Sorry, I don't see any answers yet.
PS. They, (National News) has shown the full Hazmet suit and the process of spraying the suit before it is removed.
As I implied earlier?? Is this a Debate? You win sir! I'm not debating anything but asking for real, knowledgeable information. When the official statesman for the hospital (your link above, which I also posted earlier), says he doesn't know what part of protocol was broken but she (the Nurse) had to break it, she now has Ebola. As soon as they figure out what part of Protocol was broken they will let "us" know!
NOT my words. The hospitals. ???

I kind of agree with you so I'm not sure why you are getting so worked up (and I certainly don't understand your laughable threatening??? PM).
If all you want is 100% facts, this thread should have zero replies.

At least now the news is, (if not bowing to public pressure?) asking the appropriate questions.
(istock, why don't you copy my "laughable threatening??? PM and post/paste it here?

My original question seems to have rocked the foundation of the CDC. If they can't answer my question "yet" why would I think that one of us would or could give a legitimate answer?
Seems "blaming" the attending nurse for breaking an unknown portion of protocol isn't flying either.
CDC head criticized for blaming nurse's Ebola infection on 'protocol breach' | Fox News
Another day,.............. same question?

Ebola hemorrhagic fever (Ebola virus disease) facts
Ebola hemorrhagic fever is a disease caused by four different strains of Ebola virus; these viruses infect humans and nonhuman primates. It is also referred to as Ebola virus disease.
Ebola hemorrhagic fever has a short history since it was discovered in 1976. There have been a few outbreaks, including the current (April 2014) "unprecedented epidemic" in Africa.
Symptoms and signs of Ebola virus disease include an incubation period of two to 21 days, starting with abrupt fever, headache, joint and muscle aches, sore throat, and weakness; progression of symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain, hiccups, and rash with more devastating symptoms of internal and external bleeding in many patients.

The question marks were because I have no clue of what the purpose of your PM was. To be honest, it was laughable. But more so, it just didn't make any sense. Here is the PM that you sent me, perhaps you thought it out differently in your mind. I don't know, no hard feelings over here.

Anyway, here is a video that shows what the nurse was wearing. Obviously we can only guess as to which protocol was broken/not followed, and we may never know how exactly the transfer happened, but the level of ppe is obviously NOT what you think it is. And the gear in this video is what the CDC is currently RECOMMENDING, not full level 4 bio suits (again, like you believe).

why don't you take a break? and now your telling me (us) what I think? You really should go back to the beginning of this thread and "read" all the posts. Maybe then you will at least come up with the actual facts...
LEVEL 4 BIO suits??? Another of your incorrect facts and innuendo's. I NEVER mentioned level 4 Bio suits. I did write, describe the clothing that "they" were wearing, "Suits, gloves, masks, and goggles including that "they" were being washed off before removing.
And, please "PPE Care" that I believe it is. ? I'm sorry what is PPE, never mind I'll look it up to get the facts right.

So you expect to understand everything about Ebola but don't even know what PPE is?
I kindly hand you back your thread, sir.

More assumptions from you. Unbelievable. I was simply asking one simple question, but obvious now is that it was not a simple question. Not even the Head of the CDC knows the answers.
No, I am not familiar with your acronym of PPE
And just to answer your last and most amazing assumption that I expect to know everything about Ebola from CC. If that was the case "we" could send Brent to Texas! Problem solved!
You do know who Brent is don't you?
PS,
PPE: You at least brought one thing new to the table. Thank you.
For those as ignorant as I, PPE: Personnel Protective Equiupment. "Everybody knows that!" (Geico)

This was just posted and it is not meant to instigate more arguing or to get me involved as I really don't know much about this desiese except what I hear and that it may be starting to mutate. Also a man died in Germany that had been in Liberia a day or so ago. However from the tone of this statement from the CDC it would seem they never really got into this until after the fact.
Feds could have done more in Dallas Ebola case, CDC director says

Now the second nurse caught it, they are going nuts in Cleveland trying to find everybody that was on that flight. Apparently, there was a whole group of nurses from a local hospital on the same flight.
I think we should be more worried about healthcare workers spreading the disease now than the average schmuck. Has anybody heard about Duncan's family? Did any of them show signs of having Ebola yet?

I haven't heard anything about his family but now the hospital is saying they could have done more to contain this as they are trying to cover their butt because they didn't take the proper measures if what was reported is true.

I'm reluctant to post but here goes anyway. I have seen first hand as medical workers fail to follow procedures that are in place for their own protection. Sometimes this failure is caused by poor training, sometimes neglect, and sometimes because they see a situation where they need to act fast, no time to waste. I'm not saying that any of these happened with the nurses in Texas, I am saying that just because precautions are in place doesn't mean that they are followed 100% of the time. It's just too easy to skip or forget one step along the way. For now I will just do my best to keep out of harm's way.
I am confident that if anything the media will exaggerate the risk from Ebola rather than to understate it, better ratings from the exaggerated version.
Keep calm and carry on.
