Has or does anyone posting here have or had an older version of one of these?

I'm wondering what it's like to drive and own (repairs, etc).

I never owned one but have ridden in a 2003 model that a friend owned. I thought it was an awesome car but rough riding and noisy. He finally sold it as he wanted a more civilized car, or that was his excuse. I watched some videos of the one that you posted above and it is barely street legal and according to the news release the tires that come on it aren't street legal along with something else but they never elaborated on that. Their statement at the end is that it is an all out race car that can be used on the street. A very nice looking car I think.
