To me, it looks like Americans who are not only supporting a foreign third world economy, but also helping conservation efforts of threatened species by dumping millions of dollars annually in to wildlife services which protect animals against poachers who irresponsibly kill off these breeds.
Now I don't know that I feel pride, but I certainly don't feel disgust. People post pictures of their cars on this site all the time, meanwhile many believe that our inefficient vehicles pollute and are destroying the environment, including "precious" animals.
Also, the British are the single handed biggest spenders on African trophy hunts, in case you cared.

Better do a little research there sparky. Start with books by W. D. M. Bell who wiped out hundereds of elephants for the ivory trade as a pro. One of several Brit ivory hunters. One of his particulars was when moving into strange country and approached by questionable natives, shooting one right off the bat so they did'nt get any aggressive ideas, so calm the f..k down.

Jeez, you guys get REALLY defensive!!
Firstly, I was interested to hear how you felt about a dead and endangered animal being draped in your country's flag, which is why I titled the thread "Disgust or Pride".
Secondly, what scrap of anything I've written suggested I wasn't "calm"?
Finally, if you you have to stoop to using some guy that died over 60 years ago to justify the contents of the picture, that's pretty lame.

Unfortunately, our flag (and the Union Jack) have been treated much worse than that.
That being said...there's nothing more to be said.
