So CGtheRB protests it's "not" her thong, but it's hanging now on her cars mirror? And just a few days after she returned from the meet she changes her sig to "Renegade Blonde"

Kristen you may never live this one down

Well, GR, I came out of the lunch yesterday, and there it was, hanging from the mirror!! MY thong is that cute little flipflop, now a keychain for the cobra. Somebody in the dallas group will get it next month, hopefully it will 'float' around the club! Maybe even to Australia-- right, Bernie???

Hey,

Maybe it should be autographed each time someone else passes it on!
Sort of like a ball cap only different. It does seem to get around.

hi, tru. ya know, enjoy that moment of fame while it lasts....

even if it has questionable beginnings....

K

see you in Ohio. hmmmm. maybe, maybe not. It is a major logistics situation for me to make it. Part of the problem is that:

I've got visitors first weekend. going to tulsa second weekend. going to san antonio 3rd weekend. going to ohio 4th weekend??? Kinda tough on hubby, what with sports camps and scout camp. Still working on it though. don't count me out. And, if I can fly my brother down here, and he drives up with me, then it is a distinct possiblity. I WANT to go, so that's half the battle. Just working out the details of the kids and camps.

I've got the 'ok' from sugah daddy.....

I'll keep ya'll posted.

Just thinking out loud, here.....

If my brother and I leave first thing Thursday, we can get there Friday evening. That would mean the packs would have to be ready for the boys on Wednesday. It's just the mental uncertainty that all the stuff they need will be in the pack still on Sunday. Hubby can get them to church for the 'send off'. We've done it several times already. And of course, they are boys, and all their $hi! comes home filthy anyway, and if they forget something then so what, they don't even change their clothes all week anyway.... It's just all those little details.... and I believe we have a sports camp that week for #1 girl, but maybe not....
gotta check it all out....

but if I can get all the junk co-ordinated by Wednesday then it's a go. Course, got to get my bubba here.... I'm not gonna drive the truck/trailer alone, for that far. If he doesn't go with me, then if it works out, I'll fly to wherever, not worry about the car, and then I will need somebody to pick me up, unless I rent a car or taxi it. hmmm. see, just thinking out loud...

HEY, WHERE'S RON??? he's been quiet for a couple of days. Must be at all those car shows having fun! hope it isn't:

too hot. rainy. windy. cold.

K
off to ballet shuttle....

#2 son has first baseball game tonight.
#1 girl had first softball game last night. lost 18-5. (another learning season ) she hit a double that RBI'd 3 runs!!!

She's the pitcher. Doesn't want to be. wants to be firstbaseman. It's 'coach pitch' so she just stands there waiting to be hit in the mouth by the ball.... ugh, I hope not.....

Soccer starts saturday.

play ball!!!!!

Kristen,

I am now able to get up and around. Wish it had been car shows. Another real bad few days with nerves and health. But to the dismay of some of my friends here I lived through this round.
The weather is just perfect today and I want to go to some of the show and shines this week if I can. Next Saturday is the main show. Lots of great cars running around on the streets today.

Got dust all over my car the other day. Dang, now I'm gonna have ta wash it.

I hate dirt roads. I love the farm, but hate the dirt roads.

Mike I hope to see you in late June. Look for the car with dual black roll bars, silver with black stripes. Same with you Kristen.

Ron, How in the wide world of sports are we going to get you to one of these cotton-pickin shows??? You are just going to hafta tell all those ladies you will not be available for a short while.

Tru,

How I wish that was the problem. Now my doctor is hedging on me even attempting the Reno trip next month. I have to make a decision on this soon so I can let Duane know by the middle of this month. I was really looking forward to that, but the way things are going I may not be able to drive more than a few miles much longer.

On a lighter side. For Kristen

A sign in the Bank Lobby reads: "Please note that this bank is
installing new "Drive-through" teller machines. Customers using this new facility are requested to use the below outlined procedures when accessing their accounts.

MALE & FEMALE procedures have been developed after months of
careful research.

MALE PROCEDURE
1.. Drive up to the cash machine.
2.. Insert card into machine and enter PIN.
3.. Enter amount of cash required and withdraw.
4.. Retrieve card, cash and receipt.
5.. Drive off.

FEMALE PROCEDURE
1.. Drive up to cash machine.
2.. Reverse and back up the required amount to align car window
with the machine.
3.. Set parking brake, put the window down
4.. Find handbag; remove all contents on to passenger seat to locate
card.
5.. Turn the radio down.
6.. Attempt to insert card into machine.
7.. Open the car door to allow easy access to machine due to its
excessive distance from the vehicle.
8.. Insert card.
9.. Reinsert card the right way up.
10. Dig through handbag to find diary with your PIN written on the
inside back page.
11. Enter PIN.
12. Press cancel and reenter correct PIN.
13. Enter amount of cash required.
14. Check make up in rear view mirror.
15. Retrieve cash and receipt.
16. Empty handbag again to locate wallet and place cash
inside.
17. Place receipt in back of checkbook.
18. Recheck make-up again.
19. Drive forward 2 feet.
20. Reverse back to cash machine.
21. Retrieve card.
22. Re-empty hand bag, locate cardholder, and place card into the
slot provided.
23. Give appropriate one-fingered hand signal to irate male driver
lined up behind you.
24. Restart stalled engine and pull away.
25. Drive for 2 to 3 miles.
26. Release Parking Brake

Kristen,

How about trading me about 15 years of your health and stamina so I can do some fun things. I really enjoy reading about all of your going as it reminds me of when I was able to just take off and go anywhere with no worries. Now I panic every time I pass a drug store wondering what kind of medication I forgot.

Oh well, I just have to try to spend my remaining time gracefully and enjoy what things I can do and forget about the things that I can no longer do. That should clear about 4/5ths of my mind.

Ron,
Here is another way of looking at growing older.

LIKE BEING OLD!

Fred,

Thanks, that was great. It did bring back some memories, but most of all I now have a legimitate excuse to ignore my doctors orders and eat what I want and do what I can.
And boy, can I ever relate to a kinder gentler world. I remember when people used to help each other and then not hold their hand out for pay. Last yeat I stopped along the freeway and changed a flat tire for a woman and when she asked me what she owed me I told her nothing, to just help some other person when she could. Here is her exact statement. " What are you, some kind of dam fag. I don't help anyone unless I get something in return." I really thought about taking the wheel that I had just put on back off and driving away.
