The kids bought a Nintindo gamecube with some of their own leftover vacation cash. My son Bought a "undergraund" car race game. It is very VERY cool. I spent all day Sunday in our home theater with the races on the big screen. We sat in front of the screen and I swear I felt like I was in the drivers seat. It was fun. My finger is sore this morning and my son says he thinks he has authoritis in this "THROTTLE FINGER"
I finally got the grass mowed and man was it hot. I swear I thought I was going to passout. I could not quench my thirst, so I dedcided it was time to stop before I have another heat stroke. [4 so far]

Steve,
Watch those heat strokes. I spent a whole week in the hospital once because of one and have had 3 since. My doctor tells me they are easier to have each time you have one. I was going to mow today but it is so humid I can't believe it. The temp. is just 86, but I have been colder in saunas.
I did go up and pick up my medicine. Amazing. Rite Aid wanted $148.95 for it and I got it at COSTCO for $27.89. And I had been paying our little pharmacy $44.95 for it for years until Bob sold to Rite Aid. I can make that 15 minute drive for that amount. Just wish they would open earlier than they do.

Ron,
Yea after the second one I have been able to know what to look for. When I am outside in the heat if I start to get that shaky feeling I am done for the day, wehter I am or not.
The first time it happened I passed out and luckily for me I was in the shade and a neighbor found me. The second time I was out for about thirty minuetes in the sun. I lost six pounds in thirty minuetes. Man was I a sick puppy.
Usually when I can't quench my thirst is a very good sign for me that it is time to stop.

mispellings and grammar errors. Yeah, right! It was 1:30 in the morning, I was on a POS wireless computer in the HILTON in CHICAGO!!! About six keys didn't work, including apostrophe, delete, capitals (right side), periods, sometimes, dashes, not a one...... so. Trularin. glad YOU made it home. You know my flight from Columbus at 7:11? Finally pushed off about 9. missed all flights to Dallas, and spent $189 (!!!) for a few hours in the hilton at the airport!! More than the entire weekend in London. The last 24 hours were surreal. Well, I took a nap for the last one. Finally got home at 3:30 this afternoon. Unbelievable!!!! Had to stop at an ATM in the airport to get cash for the airport parking!
Way, way, way fun!! I'll be back....... (London, that is)
will post photos after I go to softball tonight.

Well we missed you by a couple days. We will be swapping planes in Chi-Town the 28th. It will be nice to be home and visit family.
No hotel voucher for missing a plane? What did you do, fly United?

Always wear clean underwear in public, especially when working under
your vehicle...
From the Northwest Florida Daily News comes this story of a Crestview
couple who drove their car to Wal-Mart, only to have their car break
down in the parking lot. The man told his wife to carry on with the
shopping while he fixed the car in the lot.
The wife returned later to see a small group of people near the car.
On closer inspection, she saw a pair of male legs protruding from under
the chassis. Although the man was in shorts, his lack of underpants
turned private parts into glaringly public ones. Unable to stand the
embarrassment, she dutifully stepped forward, quickly put her hand UP
his shorts, and tucked everything back into place.
On regaining her feet, she looked across the hood and found herself
staring at her husband who was standing idly by. The mechanic, however, had
to
have three stitches in his forehead.

Are you the father of one of my children?
A man standing in line at a check out counter of a grocery store was very surprised when a very attractive woman behind him said, "Hello!"
Her face was beaming.
He gave her that "who are you look," and couldn't remember ever having seen her before.
Then, noticing his look, she figured she had made a mistake and
apologized. "Look," she said "I'm really sorry but when I first saw you, I thought you were the father of one of my children," and walked out of the store.
The guy was dumbfounded and thought to himself, "What the hell is the world coming to? Here is an attractive woman who can't keep track of who fathers her children! "
Then he got a little panicky. "I don't remember her," he thought
but, MAYBE....during one of the wild parties he had been to when he was in college, perhaps he did father her child!
He ran from the store and caught her in the parking lot and asked, "Are you the girl I met at a party in college and then we got really drunk and had wild crazy sex on the pool table in front of everyone?"
"No", she said with a horrified look on her face. "I'm your son's
second grade teacher!"

Steve,
I am glad that you enjoy the jokes. I have about 300 pages of them that I saved from my days with the labs as everyone in the country that worked for any phone copany or other computer business that we were associated with would fax us copies of every joke and picture they came across. I gave away 7 big manila folders of those things when I had to leave. Should have kept them I guess.
Just playing to see if this will work.

Kristen,
Just wanted to post this in here to refer you to next time you tellus how lousy we are with the keyboards.
the delete button, and al the buttons on the right dont work.
oh, yeah. rick. you did an outstanding job, and bill dyer must be the energizer bunny.
geez this is one ****** up key board. I hate all
the errors!!!
There were more but it would take most of the page to get them all in. Bad spelling, no Capitols for names, implied threats about the computer, etc.

The picture is of our home in Keller, Texas. The real estate taxes are a "mother" on this house. But the garage is nice it is 2,500 sq ft. and maintains about a 79* temp in summer and a 65* temp in winter with no outside help.

Kristen can get away with the POS thingy, but Ron, you just don't want to put on your glasses.
Yes, We had a great time in London. And, yes that really was me under that car.
At least I know enough to crawl under the car and fix it.

Steve,
That is a beautiful house and the garage alone is larger than my whole place, including the property. If I had a 2,500 square foot garage, I would live in it and get rid of the house.
Tru,
London sounds as if it was great and I am glad that you all had a great time. Wish I could go to some of the stuff, but that is over now as my health is to bad. In fact I don't even drive at all any more except when I have to. In the last two months I have put just over 100 miles on my daily driver and that was going to doctors and the store. Many days I don't even start it. I need to get rid of the replica as just setting isn't good for it. As for crawling under a car, ask Kristen when the last time she was under hers.

Mike,
Good to see that you took time out from chasing girls to post. I guess we are going to have to have Kristen talk to you about priorities.
By the way, your post count is way down compared to hers now.

Ron,
Such foul language from you. You should not even consider selling the replica. I mean why would you. Even in failing health. When I got really, really sick once. My wife asked If I needed anything. I said "yea baby, help me out to the garage"
I just needed a little look see at the monster. That was the turning point. And hey, If we can find a place in North Oregon and we are seriously looking, I'll come down and take you for a spin. I'll even help with the clean up when we are done. I mean you should never ride your car hard and put it up "wet"
Tru and Kristen,
I would love to have gone to London. I hope to make that trip one year. I was planning to go one year as we were going to be in Dayton and Kettering that very weekend. Plans were changed though.
Mike
Glad you are back. Do you have any friends that have tuner cars? I am working on something for those types of cars. I have some real nice new go fast parts.

hey, Trularin. How do I email them to you? two at a time???
Can you not grab them off the gallery?? Let me know. There are more than I put in thread, gallery. I'm sorry I don't have a good pic of you and Erich together. The one you have of you, Bernie and me is better than the one I have.
be back in a minute.
