I was reading your comments about CA stuff inanother thread. When I went to the BAR in Oceanside I only had a temporary license so when all was said and done and they told me what I needed to do, they wouldn't take a check because of the temp license. I had no cash on me so they never did get paid for thier time. Stupidestomundo.

Kristen,
The girls are really growing into beautiful little ladies. Time to start screeniong your son's friends who just happen to pop over for a visit. The picture of your husband and the boys wasn't to blurry. I finally fighured out there were four people in it.
By the way, you must post a picture of your new hair cut. At least you have hair. Some of us don't have that problem.

Brent,
It is actually hard for even Californians to relate to the posts about the DMV and BAR as they differ so much from place to place. I read where one DMV assigned a clerk to do just SB-100 numbers until they were gone and asked this one if they would do that and the answer was, No Way, that is a waste of time and probably illegal. Same from BAR station to BAR station. I have seen vehicles from other ares that were ok and had no problems come here and could not be registered because our person makes his own rules as he goes. All I do know is that in one of my registration letters, there was a note asking all of us up here to please use the Redding DMV when we had to go in as so many people are going to others to avoid this one. I have heard the the state sent a man up and that Redding has gotten better but I haven't been into this one for years.

Good morning all.
I know most of you are up allready where are you.
Fred
I hope I have hair any color hair when I get old. I don't care what color they are so long as they stay put.
From the sounds of it I am sure glad I don't live in Ca.
Did anyone see Seattle mad the top of the list for most expensive places to live, AGAIN. Portland was very close at third (I think). I know it was in the top five for sure.

Just back from Redding and Office Depot. Not supposed to be over 100 today but I will wait until this afternoon before I get excited. Humidity is very low and that helps a lot. I also saw them out changing the price of gas signs as I came home. The old ones only went to $3.50 a gallon I think she said. These have no limit. Boy, would I hate to have to fill up one of those huge motor homes or a big boat right now. And deisel is also going way up. But this is going to affect all states, just some more than others, maybe!

Brent,
It seems almost unreal. Here we sit and I see the flash flood warnings flash across the screen for your area almost every evening lately it seems and all I can see is dust from passing cars. And yes, our streets are paved, but the pot holes are so bad they are like dirt roads with the pavement being big rocks here and there.
