ROFLMAO!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Mike, you are cracking me up!! hahaha.
oh, yeah, I've been to gasholes.com
got "invited" some time last year, when I was new on CC....
turk, I believe, but could be wrong...
I didn't join, but 'lurked' around reading the weird threads. I believe a thread regarding a trip to mexico was in the works. Did that trip ever come about? Guess I ought to go read it sometime...
I had to do KP duty. hubby cooked the steaks, I got to clean up.
I have left the lights on up in the 'workshop/scrapbook room, planning on going back up there and doing some more stuff. always find it so entertaining here at night. The masks of day come off at night. Some of my more 'enlightening' posts are deep in the dark of night......

Kristen,
To become an official Gashole now you have to purchase a hat and shirt from Turk. Also Pat is lookng into getting another bunch of hats. Then of course there is the commitment to the new Turk and Gashole designed car he is goijng to build.

yeah, saw their thread regarding hats/sweatshirts/tshirts. Not my cup of tea, thank you.
I am spending all my extra energy (not to mention money) chasing down csx 2128......

Not your cup of tea, huh? Well, that's OK because "we don't like us either."

Kristen,
I have been looking at CSX2128 and have decided that I want it.
By the way, quit hogging the random pictures on the homepage. Every timeI go there one of your pictures is showing.

I think it's weird how "fake" those ornaments look! The yard guy left the tree "wrapped" at the trunk. Is he coming back to finish?? hmm. that's the question. Doubt it.... Not sure I'll have him do the decorating next year....
I'm trying to remember how many pages I have in my gallery. Since I haven't learned to post directly to a thread, I've had to put an awful lot of pics in my gallery, that I would have rather just put in a thread. So, that means my gallery has too many....
Guess I could get out that email you sent telling me how to do it... Maybe by now my learning curve has improved, and I could figure out how to shrink the photo enough to get it in a thread.... Hmmm. now where did I put that sheet of paper???!!!
I am not joining gasholes. I think the majority would "blackball" me, as I'm probably too much of a talkie bird.
Ron, STAY AWAY FROM CSX 2128! I mean it..... it's mine.....

Kristen,
Actually I think the tree looks great. But they should have completely cleaned it up when they took everything down.
Ok, since I don't have your e-mail and you don't accept them from the club, I will send you a PM telling you exactly how to post directly to the thread. You already have the biggest part figured out as you can post to the gallery. I would include pictures with the steps, but can't put them in a PM. So go read the PM !!!

Kristen,
In all seriousness, the Gasholes are some of the most intelligent and helpful people I've run across in the Cobra world. They've bailed me out several times and will often drop everything to help out. The contacts and leads I've gotten there have been invaluable and better than anywhere else.
Some of the build threads over there are nothing short of amazing (check out Morris' KMP build thread). Yes, the humor is a little edgy, (which I happen to like), but no one actually bites .

Darn,
Well for once Clay, I have to agree with you. The story on Turk's Cobra alone is worth reading. And just like here, they will help anyone with anything. And there are some really intelligent people over there. Some from NASA and all other walks of life. Ask any question and you will normally get an immediate reply. Just ignore the edgy humor as they all know each other and most of it is in fun.
Ron
Clay,
No more on topic posts until we get a few in between. Don't want the thread moderator on our case.

They're also the most hilarious group of people I have run across. The CSX4027 Thread made me laugh like I have never laughed before. I dont know if the tears were from me laughing so hard or seeing what happened to that poor cobra.
Ron, you have a lot of room to talk since you probably have 10-20 posts on the weather. (Dont take that the wrong way)

BTW Kristen, why don't you sell your ERA and get another ERA, only a 289 FIA and paint it in the color scheme of CSX2128? I like the HLC Car, but I would rather have CSX3002. I really wish someone would make a replica of that.

Mike,
But I let people put in three or four posts between my weather posts. And I never get upset or mad about what anyone posts about me. I seriously doubt if anyone could say anything about me that wouldn't have a great deal of truth to it. I used to be the village idiot until I got to dumb for that job.
By the way, it is beautiful here again today and I just got back from the dam a few minutes ago. However, the forecast is for cloudy and rainy starting tomorrow and the rest of the week. Hope they are wrong.

Hey Ron, I think you have the "intelligent ones" mixed up a bit since I was one of the two NASA alums . Plus, it's not a hat and t-shirt thing.......I don't have either, since they're out of production.
Everything else was OK .

Clay,
I have a T-Shirt but no hat. When we went to the Kool April Nights car show here last year, there was a Gas Hole booth there. No relation to the club. But boy, did they want to know how I got that T-Shirt. I told them we were a club that ate a lot of beans and chili.
Also, most are very friendly. Heck, Turk would even introduce you to women that he didn't know.

Oh there goes the thread. Now we have Far#s in the non-topic.
Mike, you take three threads to say everything you want to say. I do not think you can compare to the vital NON-TOPIC of weather.
Besides, how come you are not out shoveling the walk...or something?
So, how far is Mike from the revolution?? Is it possible someone could gather this young man and haul his but down to the party??

The Gasholes are 'way cool...
But what do I know? I drove a Backdraft Cobra through a barbed-wire fence.
Excuse me, I have to go pick my nose.

Mike,
You live on a road ?? I never saw any town on that map. Shouldn't you be out shoveling the snow or something?
As for the battery tray you want to build. Why not get your buddies to gether and build a Cobra. Then you would have something to use the battery tray in. They sell the original Cobra blue prints. That would be a real project for you.

I've been wondering where you were, Tru. How's the shoveling going? Do you get to take Sunday "off"?
Boy, it's a challenge trying to fit all the activities of summer in. We have shelby mid america meet in Tulsa, in mid june, spring fling in late june, and just so many things! It's kinda hard to get excited about going on family vacation this summer; wanna go to the cobra parties! now when is cobra revolution? didn't it change dates last year? is that your function, clay? hmm. so many questions.
Mike. excellent idea. ERA build me a replica of HLC. What a great idea. hmm. have to think on that a bit. I've emailed sugah daddy the website that a-snake so kindly gave me. I guess he'll see it tomorrow at his office..... Think I can fly out to scottsdale real quick next sat?!!!
I believe it lives in Colorado, at the shelby museum??

Now that would be a project, way more than I could chew. The shoveling's done, our new houses drive way will be 4 times longer. But then again, thats why we have El Toro.
